Florida Keys Children's Museum, Marathon

To clarify, the Children's activities have been moved to an outside location and scaled down within the past year. It is all located at Crane Point and part of their admission fee. All the features are still there but it is no longer a separate Museum. My kids and I were there in July 2007 and loved the pirate ship, dressing up in the clothes they provided and learning about the tropical lagoon fish swimming around. Explore all of Crane Point since it is the same admission fee. Make sure to take the walk out to the Point overlooking the Gulf of Mexico at the end of the nature trails and visit the Wild Bird Rescue Center on the way. Also, the Bahamian Adderley house was great and is about halfway down the trails. The kids loved the trails and used enough energy to nap most of the way home! We're all looking forward to going again during our next Keys vacation!
