Ice Factory, Kissimmee

When I was younger I used to take ice skating lesson here. It was fantastic, and I got so great at it. I stopped going because I grew up. When I recently went there, it was a mess! Even when I got my skates, the laces broke and the reception guy insisted I broke it. I asked the guy to just give me another pair and he made such a big deal out of it. Even though it's their old and cheap skates. I still skate fantastic, but OMG. There were so many holes in the rink I nearly broke my leg! This place completely changed. Maybe they switched management, but they definitely suck now!

I've skated at the Ice Factory for years and over the past year or so have noticed a marked improvement in the condition of the facility and the professionalism of the staff. Family nights are a great deal, and I'd have to say that the Ice Factory is a fantastic place to bring your kids to skate!

I took my 10 year old niece to the Ice Factory for a post Thanksgiving special they were running. I can only say I wished I had saved my money for something else. The ice was in such bad condition that even myself an experienced skater was falling so naturally my nieces first time was horrible not only did she spend more time sprawled out on the ice she ended up breaking her leg. The employee that came over when she feel and started screaming told her she just needed to shake it off. We helped her off the ice and to a table to sit. We tried to get ice and see how badly hurt she was when a manager came over and told us that we had leave because she was crying and bother other customers they would not get us any ice and we ended up sitting outside waiting for family that was off shopping to come and get us and take her to the hospital.

I love to ice skate and I was excited to try out this one... BIG mistake. Next time I'll be sure to look for reviews because the restrooms were disgusting, the service was terrible, and the ice was in bad condition. There were many hole and bumps - it was all uneven and tripped me up a few times. I would reccomend to not go to this place and take the time to travel further so you won't have to encounter this rundown rink.

I use to figure skate... this place is by far the worst establishment I have been to. The bathrooms were extremely dirty and the staff is rude. My professional skates broke due to their floor having holes. When I confronted them about it they refused to do anything and then sneakily went and covered up the hole. The place is very run down, dirty, and in general a waste of money and the time it took to get there. Please don't waste your money/time. I only went to Ice Factory to try it out and defiantly won't be going back.

This is a fun place to go to ice skate. BUT- The atmosphere is very drab and needs repair badly. The rest rooms are terrible, lucky to get any paper in the stalls and no paper towels. The people working there are not very friendly and need to have some people skills! Soneone needs to fix the place up and hire some people who care.

The owners are extremely thoughtful and giving. It's a great day for a family. They were so helpful in making sure that you get what you need. Probably run on a shoestring but it's a relaxed fun atmosphere.

rental skates are in poor condition when there to watch a hockey game, they never turn on the heaters that are in place to keep guest comfortable. Bathrooms are always dirty....

The staff was not at their counters, they were lacking skates for some sizes, and the management was rude and condescending. We left after 30 minutes without getting to skate and with the manager refusing a refund.
