Great extra family fun!
In 1999. my son and I decided to take a 4-day trip to Florida's Disney. Just looking to have alot of fun, so I planned out each day with a time schedule. I have to say whenever we go on vacation, we are both like the "Energized Bunny" wanting to see and do everything until we pass out for the night. Surprisingly, we were able to see every "Disney Park" attraction including "The Epcot Center" within (2) days using our all-day "Hopper Passes". Thus, leaving us to fiqure out what to do for the next (2) days.
So I rented a car to check-out some of the restaurants and roadside attractions and came upon our first "Movie Rider" theater. FYI, most of the roadside attractions we had stopped at were kind of cheesy. So, we had a big question mark about this place. It turned out to be such a fun experience. The theater has motion simulated chairs that makes you feel as if you are riding within the movie, especially if the movie is about "Theme Park Rollercoasters". So the next day, we set out to search for the other "Movie Rider" theater. This attraction is such great fun and a great way to end the night (better than 3D movies). If you decide to visit Florida and want something extra to do, check out the "Movie Rider" theaters. It's worth the time and money for extra family fun. Hopefully, these theaters are still in business. The last time we were in Florida (2006), many of the roadside attractions were out of business including "Splendid China, The Haunted Castle and "Skull Kingdom", plus others. P.S. check out the "Capone's Dinner (Buffet) & Show" down the road from the theater. The boys would like this show - (1st look for discount coupons before going) - Remember: Happiness is Living Your Life to the Fullest and Treating People the Way You Want to Be Treated. Peace Out!
