A wonderful hidden treasure.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/07
We almost missed out on this wonderful Nature Center because of its remote location. Hidden behind the trees is beautifully designed building with great underwater exhibits. The staff is extremely friendly, which I must say, was unexpected compared to the rest of my experience with Miami. The best part is that there is no charge, except the parking fee. The building is only the beginning of what seemed like hundreds of acres of a natural sub-tropical forest. There were birds, butterflies, all kids of big lizards and fish that swam right up to the shoreline. I recommend this to everyone who visits Miami. What a treat!

Amazing Educational Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/07
Great staff, interesting exhibits, and the tours of the various Key Biscayne ecosystems were very informative and fun. Try the seagrass adventure!!! You catch sea creatures in the shallows of the Key Biscayne shores and learn about their biology.
