What a wondreful place to see!!!
By RACHAELH, 03/27/09
I loved the bird show. Especially When the caretakers showed the Cara Cara to the public. The exhibits that I loved the most were the wild cat exhibits. "Jasper" the bobcat is my most favorite!!! I carry a pic. of him everyday with me on my call phone. I would actually like to get more info. on him and the other cats and how they are all doing since I was last there.

Great day and will be going back!
By Blonde, 03/18/09
The entire time we spent at the sanctuary was wonderful. The children loved looking at all the animals on exhibit. All the cages were clean and fresh and full of information about the animals on display. Well worth taking the time out to see and explore. The gift shop was full of all types of items to look at and to buy as gifts especially the fact that a percentage is given to the sanctuary. All the volunteers were very help should you havve a question. My family enjoyed spending the day and know you will too!

What a disappointment!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/08
Disgusting!! Anybody take notice of the alligator and Crocodile enclosures?? Or should I say concrete torture chambers. These are wild animals and need to have the feeling of being in the wild. How about some grass for the oversized crocodile shoved into the 10 x 10 concrete ditch?? Wonder what his underside looks like?? What a way to live, do people actually think this is okay?? They claim to raise so much money in the papers, well just curious to know where it is all going??

Incredible
By TraciM, 07/30/08
Loved the experience. Amazing array of animals. Clean and friendly. Upclose experiences. They have rare animals such as an albino raccoon and an american crocodile. The animal show was a great hands-on experience. Great for the whole family!

kids loved it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/08
My kids ages 3 & 5 were very excited about going. Their excitment was contagious. This is about as close as they're ever going to get to some of these beautiful animals. My favorite was the rehab area for the animals and the albino raccoon, Casper. I can't wait until it cools off, so I can take the kids back. The best part it's free and any money you spend goes right back to the care of these animals. Also, there are donation boxes at each animal are so you can help that animal inparticular. Definitley a great place to take the family.

We can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/07
The place is like a mini-zoo, but the difference is you dont have to pay to go inside! Instead they relye on tips and donations to keep the animals feed. Also, they depened on the Voleenters, "The blood of the Place" to keep the sanctuary going. Visit the place! its a free zoo!!!!

My family and I loved this place. While on vacation we go to take our kids on a very educational experience. They have learned so much from this tour. It is a must see.

Wonderful Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/07
If you care about the animals and birds this is the place for you! I liked the fact that animals and birds will be introduced back into the wild whenever possible and if not possible they will find a place for them in a zoo or some other protected environment. The grounds were clean and the people friendly and informative. My 6 year old great nephew loved getting to "touch" the animals and birds, especially the baby alligator. I look forward to returning with my grandson.
