Zoo, The, Gulf Breeze

I love the new train. They have a new train that you can take a "train safari" in. They just had a new baby gorilla, and they are letting everyone submit suggestions for its name until march 7, 2012. They are always doing something like that, or zootography or zoocamps for kids. It's really a beautiful place and we enjoy it.

We were season ticket holders last year and enjoy the zoo.... If they cant stay open with the funds from the money they collect, then let them close. Dont theaten the city council and the tax payers to stay open. The management should be replaced. Most of the people we talk to there are volunteers so if they are charging 12 bucks a person, how can they be losing money?

This is the most amazing zoo in North Florida!! The cages were spacious and very clean. The animals were happy and very well kept. The staff was very polite and well educated about the animals. I couldn't believe the variety of exotic animals my children were able to see. If you are planning a trip to the Emerald Coast you won't be disappointed by adding The Zoo to your planed destinations. Make sure you buy train tickets to see the safari animals. Well worth the money we paid!!

My family has always enjoyed this zoo. It is the most extensive collection of animals within a three-hour radius, and one of the best there is.

My family loves this zoo! They have a wide variety of animals to see. The Giraffe is my children's favorite. They love to feed them. They go up a platform and the Giraffes come to the platform to "lick" the food pelets from the children's hands. This a true close encounter with a giraffe. If you are in Gulf Breeze, you MUST visit The Zoo!
