This home!

I grew up at this beach and I think it is the best beach I have ever been to. When I was young, it was free, there were giant Australian Pines that shaded the picnic area, but the hurricanes and growth destroyed all that, still I don't mind paying the fee to be able to go and spend the day like I did in my youth. My daughter truly loved it, although she did not remember going there as a child. She also wants to go back. Now it is a vacation for us since we no longer live in Florida.

best beach/park ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/09
this beach is among one of the best beaches i have ever been to. The water is great for snorkling and sometimes boogie boarding. Once you go out in the water after 200 ft you are only nee deep in is safe and a cool place to chill out. but you have to pay 5.00 to get in. i would so recomend this beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful Beach!
By LindaP, 04/09/08
Just got home yesterday from a glorious vacation where we spent almost everyday at Fort Pierce Inlet State park. What a wonderful beach. Hardly any rocks or sharp shells in the water and very clean. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Hated to leave. Loved watching all the surfers.

Must do
By VladimiroS, 08/08/06
If you want to have a nice beach time with all the conditions you should have, this is a fantastic place to do it. It's a great place to spend a day with kids and family, doing a barbecue or something like that. We had to run before the beach, because of the rain. Left this inlet and went to the Seal Museum.

All around wonderful
By Jen, 07/01/06
This is not only an excellent swimming area but there is bathrooms, picnic area, grills and vending machines. The public dock to put your boat in the water will lead you to an awesome fishing spot to catch florida best fish. During turtle sea you can watch them swimming around your boat!
