Royal Palm Marina, Englewood

I had intended to get this place to repaint my boat, tried talking to shop manager ron and the dock master, both kept giving me the runaround. shop manager didnt know the least thing about boats, kept trying to sell me a paint job for my car, guess he owns an auto shop too. suggested putting hot sauce in my paint to make it better. these guys are idiots, don't know what's going on. Spoke with some boat owners at the bar later and they told me the bottom jobs here are crappy and not to have them do it. When the people who DOCK THEIR BOATS THERE TELL YOU NOT TO GET WORK DONE THERE, listen to them!

downright dirty and dingy! puddles of grease and water runoff from the kitchen dot the parking lot. hostess stand literally has grime caked all over it. kitchen staff by entrance smoking gave us dirty looks as we walk in, don't they know we pay their salary??? ordered a beef taco and it was terrible, meat was dried out and inedible. Didnt dare ask for anything else for fear they would do something nasty to the food.. wont go there again!

This place should be avoided at all costs. The shop manager Ron has absolutely no clue what he is doing, surly attitude and a real jerk! They did some work on my boat and miswired all my electronics so nothing worked! All that was needed was for a fuse to be replaced! Unreal! They claimed they were not responsible for any damages because I signed their 'waiver' which is included in the work contract. They then had the nerve to try and sure me when I refused to pay for the wrecking my boat! The whole place is falling apart, the docks are all broken and dangerous to walk on. The food is not so good the the kitchen is incredibly dirty!

Off the beaten path, looking out over the water, food and drink costs reasonable, pleasant wait staff, music at night, I've never had a bad experience and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Service of boats is the worst I've ever experienced

FOOD OK..MARINA RUN DOWN & MANAGEMENT WAS HARASSING BOAT OWNERS WHO HAD NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT MANAGEMENT WHICH BY THE WAY ACTED LIKE THEY WERE ON SOMETHING. SOME GUYS IN THE PARKING LOT ASKED US IF WE WANTED TO "BUY." BEER BOTTLES ON THE GROUND. BARTENDER SNOTTY. LOW CLASS & I WOULD FEAR KEEPING MY BOAT THERE.

Food is not bad, and most of waitresses are pretty nice, but typical tourist spot. Rest of staff are beyond rude.

Great food , great music friendly staff. we are locals and were surprised at how good the food was. We really went for the outside dining atmosphere and cold beer and had a great meal. We will be back and next time we'll take the boat

Some guy that works there named Ryan is a total dweeb. Duh...uh..I dunno type. Very unprofessional. I am local resident.....this place sucked and always will. Lotta drunks and same old barfly's...seasonal and otherwise.

Nice Tiki bar on the water at the marina. They just started serving food today, March 20, 2010, at the Tiki Bar. Live music on Sat & Sun 3PM to 6PM most of the time. Sandy the bartender is the greatest. Hard to find. Take Wentworth west to the bay. Just north and west of Dearborn Ave (old englewood).
