the staff was so mean my 4 year old wanted to go with me and they said that we had to find a two seeter. so they had this other family behind us and he told them they could have the last two seeter. i mean come on we were in front of them amd they were not the nice people that i thought they were so if someone was going over there i would say to watch out for people like them. so it is not the best place to go. think about it befor you go with your family.bye!! :(
We visited The Track for the first time and had a lot of fun. We spent quite a bit of money but that was our fault. We became addicted to the arcade games. The tickets in my opinion we not priced too high. Everything was working good and my children really enjoyed themselves.
We didn't experience anything bad while we were at The Track. We've always attended in year's past, and even then, the only thing I would've complained about were the bumper boats needed repair, but that is all good now since we went this year - they look new! We went on the evening of my son's 6th birthday, and we all had a blast! I didn't experience any bad feelings with the staff, although I didn't go inside the arcade or purchase the tickets, my husband did; but he didn't say anything about bad experiences either. The staff on the rides were courteous and friendly that I talked to. They seemed attentive and were very helpful. Maybe the comments in the past on the reviews have helped their business realize where they needed improvement and they've followed up by correcting those problems. We'll definitely continue to come back when we visit FL!!
Our kids, ages 2 and 4, had a blast of course. The mini golf was fun, boats were lame (in various states of disrepair), but the go-karts made up for it. The air-conditioned arcade was a LIFE-SAVER. Why do all the people who work at places like this have absolutely no customer service skills, though? I think I would've given it 5 stars if it weren't for all the straight faces on the employees. They ought to be smiling and treating the customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Feels like they're doing us a favor by being there instead. Oh well, kids didn't notice it, and they had a blast. That's all that matters. It was worth it.
We went to Destin for our first time this year and while there we visited The Track. We have been to The Track in Gulf Shores numerous times. The tickets were way too expensive and the staff was rude and could barely speak English. They charged my 8 year old son and I 4 tickets to ride the double family carts just because he was a taller than average kid who they said could drive by himself... Come on! Gulf Shores track is much better and alot friendler.
ok so i recently vacationed in destin over fall break and it was pretty good. every year me and my family go to the track and ride go karts..usually a fun experience......except this year go karts seemed a lil slow especially on their "family track" the bumper cars that were actually open were a lot of fun..... but my only real true complaint is the staff there..... its like nobody there cared about what was going on during the ride...for example 3 attendants were busy playing with soccer ball instead of watching the ride and my son happend to of wrecked and was down there the entire ride!!! another thing is i took my daughter to the kid area and she rode most of the rides that she was tall enough to ride and had a lot of fun....but i noticed that half of the girls working the rides didnt pay attention either..... so i went in to complain and the cashiers who couldnt speak english very well pretty much ignored me and then called for the manager....but heres what got me the biggest....when i spoke to the manager it turned out to be one of the girls that was talking with a ride attendant in kiddie land......... its honestly like the enitre staff there just dont care......and i definitley wont be going there anymore!!!
The tickets you have to buy for the go-karts, bumper boats, and bumper cars are a little pricey. Our kids really had fun though. We had no real problems with the staff, although most of them seemed to to speak English as a second language. The mini-golf was fun too, and not too crowded.
i recently enjoyed going to the track while i was on vaction! there aint stuff like the track where i live....the prices were decent...and the park was VERY CLEAN!!! The Bungee and Skycoaster was fun and the staff was ok...except for some of the foriegn employees! they were very rude especially on the go karts...its like they didnt really care.....half the register people didnt really speak good english and couldnt understand what i wanted....and one guy in particular on the bungee jump was ESPECIALLY RUDE!!!!!!!!! He rushed me and yelled at me to jump!!! he better feel lucky i aint his boss!!!!! but all in all its a great place to go but the skycoaster line could be smaller.....i waited for over and hour!
I did have fun playing mini-golf but the staff needed a redbull or something because they were stail, unwelcoming and downright unfriendly.
Even if I did want to do something besides mini-golf they closed so early we didnt have time! They close at like 10 or 10:30 too early for a party town like Destin!
