i too became a consultant so that i can receive free/discounted jewelry. this is bad quality jewelry...you are better off getting costume jewelry at Target! and cheaper! the repair wherehouse is huge and is a sure indication of the lack of quality control. also, the design and styles are a bit too much...they focus on layering but that's just to get you to buy more - and it can be quite expensive. stick to Claire's!!

I started selling cookie lee jewelry about 1 1/2 years ago. I am sorry to say this, but the jewelry is beautiful, but it's JUNK! I spent more time in the repair dept, fixing pieces that broke just taking them off of their cardboard backing, along with pieces that broke soon after being sold. I don't blame my customers for misuse, as even my personal pieces would break. Also, never having enough stock was such a hassle. The company is so into recruiting and making that extra buck off of everyone who signs up is ridiculous. They need to put more effort into the quality and quantity of their merchandise.

The quality of this jewelry is the pitts. The 50% profit may reel you in but don't be fooled. Jewlery breaks after being worn a couple of times. It arrives in the box broken. I have worked w/ 3 different companies and I would rather put my name behind a quality product and make 25% profit than to sell something to my friends, family, and customers that is sure to break soon-after and make 50%. It's embarassing. Waste of my time and money!

I have been selling Cookie Lee Jewelry for over a year. I have found it to be over priced for the quality of the jewelry. Cookie claims her jewelry is "high quality fashion jewelry, but I can't tell you the number of times I have received a new order direct from the California showroom only to fine there are stones missing or clasps are broken. There is obviously no in-house quality control being done before the jewelry is shipped out to consultants. It is very frustrating when you have a hostess hold a show in her home and ladies spend hundreds of dollars ordering your jewelry only to find the pieces are damaged before they receive them! It is even more frustrating when you place another order for these damaged pieces so you won't have to wait for the original piece to be repaired and you find out it is no longer available or on back order! Granted the APB system is wonderful, but this too is time wasted not only for consultants but a slap in the face to our customer's. We should not have to play these silly games to get the jewelry we sell as independent consultants! Cookie makes us jump through her fire rings with all her "silly" do's and dont's of her company, the least she and John could do for her consultants who have made them multi millionaire's is to get better quality control on the jewelry!

I currently sell Cookie Lee Jewelry and have for the past year. I too have had items that have broken, but what an awesome company to stand by their product and repair or replace an item even if the item is from a prior catalog. I love being part of a company that allows me as a sales rep to truly put the customer first. By the way few other home-based businesses allow you to make 50% commissions. So thank you to Cookie Lee for your fashion forward designs, your customer service and your integrity.

I don't know which show room you are going to. I live 3 miles from the show room in Roseville,Calif. (A suburb of Sacramento) I have found the jewelry to be the same quality that it was when I started 2 years ago.Maybe you have customer abuse!!!! If you can't say anything good about Cookie Lee Jewelry, Please don't say anything at all. You just seem to be a very negative person. If you keep this up you will never be successful in this business. Think about it.

I began as a Cookie Lee customer, loved the jewelry so much that I decided to sell it. The jewelry is excellent quality costume jewelry, that "Cookie" designs herself. She uses semi-precious stones, austrian crystal, and quality CZ's yet prices it so that it is affordable. All jewelry is manufacture's warranted for one full year against defects. All jewelry is usually available to the customer within a few days, depending on demand and proximity to the nearest showroom. Also, twice a year new catalogs are made available. One for the Fall/Winter Season and one for the Spring/Summer Season. At the close of each season there will be items that will be sold out, and therefore hard to get. That, of course, makes them a unique piece! The exciting thing is "Cookie" is always giving us new designs to keep her jewelry and customers up-to-date with the latest styles. I have been a consultant for a year now and have been so excited to be a part of this company, because the jewelry is so well-known and beautiful that it practically sells itself. Just last night I was a vendor at a holiday boutique, and every time someone spotted my table the reaction was one of two things: "Oooh, look at that jewelry!" or "Oh good! Cookie Lee!" There is such a vide palette of styles; I've never had someone look through a catalog and not find something they didn't love. The best part is that the company works so hard to ensure that the average price point is low enough for even the most strictly-budgeted woman to be able to treat herself now and then. If you're looking for a job or just something sparkly to wear, Cookie Lee is definitely the way to go.

Ive been selling cookie lee jewlery for about 7 weeks now & have done extremely well at it but i have to say Im not very happy with the jewlery it breaks alot!!! I have to get repairs all the time!!!!.It is not from the customers miss treating it .they only get to wear it once or twice & it falls apart.The other problem I have is that the items in the catolog are not all available.For example I have tons of orders out of the new catolog & the items havent even arrived yet .The show room cant even tell us when we can expect it.So in the mean time I have people needing there items because most of them are gifts & I cant even tell them when they can expect them.I might seriously think about selling my items that I have for display & stop selling it all together.It is pretty but the quality is not there !!!
