Deceitful Gardens
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
It is important that the public know of the awful experience I encountered with Costins Trellis Garden after undergoing major surgery. One morning, 3 days after surgery, I received a phone call from an individual whom identified herself as Jane. She informed me that I had an item for delivery and inquired if I would be home. I explained that I was getting ready for a Dr. appointment but would be home in the afternoon.
I arrived home at approximately 12:35 pm and upon looking at my caller ID realized that the company had already attempted delivery at 12:15 pm. I immediately called to ask if there was any chance that the driver could come back since I had just arrived home. To my shocking surprise a women on the other end of the phone line, whom identified herself as the owner, very rudely informed me that my instructions were specifically followed and that it was now my responsibility to pick up the item.
Shocked and upset by the mannerism of this woman, I explained that I was not able to drive since I had just undergone surgery. At that time, I was informed that I had no right to be upset but that they had every right to be upset with me for not being home. Feeling defeated, I explained I was not sure when the item could be picked up and inquired about the name of the sender. I was told that the senders name was not known and that I could no longer be helped. Then line went dead.
I urge anyone who reads this notice to refrain from conducting business with this merchant. Deceitful Gardens is a far more appropriate name for this business and the heartless owner who hides behind it.
