Ski Rixen, Deerfield Beach

This place is a joke, first you have to ride a strapless kneeboard around before you can do anything else. Second, wakeboards are extra. Third we were only there for 20 minutes, enough to get the kneeboard down, even though we could all wakeboard, only to get closed due to "lightning" which we nvr saw at all, right after two large pizzas got delivered for the staff. Go figure. They wouldn't even give use a raincheck to come back the next day to finish our session or give us money back for the wakeboards, which we never got to ride because of the stupid kneeboard rule. They have NO business sense at all, I will nvr recommened anyone to go there nor will I go back.

this is the nearest cable park, decent n all. but I think they would make any pro ride the stupid kneeboard around the corse before you can wakeboard. I brought my friend that could wakeboard pretty good but couldn't make it around the entire track with the strapless kneeboard so it kinda ruined the fun for us all. Very strict and unfriendly at the desk.

It was a fantastic time. For the younger crowd, with bodies that can withstand the continuous workout, it is necessary to be there for a few hours. It can be a little pricey but it is an awesome time. If you don't learn quick you might be doing some walking, as once you fall you swim your board and body to the side and have to walk all the way back to the beginning. Once you get the hang of it, it is not bad though. For those who are beginners stick with the knee board and ski's (vice the wake board, which costs extra to rent). I am going back in a few days when I visit my family. Keep in mind that the minimum age allowed is 12 years old, and under 18 requires a parent waiver that is notarized (can be printed online).
