Lighthouse Point Park, Daytona Beach

This is fun for the whole family. It's got educational aspects, and climbing the lighthouse is always fun, but tiring!! My kids love the park, and the restaurant is also really good. be sure to take a camera, lots of good photo opportunities here.

I live in Florida and we come here all the time, or try to. The reason why I love coming here because it's fun, and gives you something to do. Its a piece of Daytona Beach History. Through out the musuems, they have exhibits for people to do. Its fun, I suggest you should join in and learn a little bit. Learn about the owners who once lived on the grounds. My favorite part was seeing the lenses of the light and reading about them. The price is right, and the walk up the light house is awesome. The gift shop can be crowded but worth the walk through. Purchase an item for a fun memory. I recommend hurricane maps if you live in Florida; or if you follow the hurricane trails. Enjoy the time walking around learning about Daytona History with your friends and family.

The lighthouse and the museum were impressive. The gift shop was fun though a little costly. I liked the nature walk around the grounds though the signs and warnings about spiders and snakes made me a little nervous. It was a peaceful day there and the people working in the gift shop were friendly even though they were very busy.

The employees are rude, the faciltiy is well lets just say less than clean. That goes the same for the employees. I will never visit this place again.

We were there a while back and ran into one of the most rudest girls imaginable. She started screaming at me when I sat someplace she had reserved for someone else. How 'bout a "reserved" sign or something. She made a big scene in front of a lot of people. Will never, ever be back.

The park Manager is very rude to her residents when a problem occurs! She seems to let "choice" residents by with anything and the ones she doesn't "Click" with,well they might as well just forget getting anything done to improve their community by her.I would not advise anyone to live here unless you want to live like you are some kind of prisoner in your own home. We are Very dissatisfied "long Term" residents.
