Halifax Harbor Marina, Daytona Beach

I recently visited this marina and it was really nice, The boaters are very friendly, The entire staff was wonderful with a small exception,I dont have a boat there i was only visiting because i heard that the people and the views were great. And everything i heard was right, There was just one problem I was not told about the foul mouth of the female maintenance worker and what im thinking is a headset unless she talks to herself like that. I was in shock when i heard the vile and profane things that this young woman would just start yelling while working around the guest of this beautiful marina. I am surprised that at such a lovely place they would allow behavior like this. This is a wonderful place to visit but if you happen to see a female maintenance worker walking around in her bright orange shirt be sure to cover your ears or the ears of any children you might have with you unless you want them to hear record breaking use of every profanity you can imagine not to mention the "N" word which i dont think I could of possibly heard anymore. So if your looking for a beautiful marina with a friendly staff and beautiful views of water and gorgeous boats with the exception of a foul mouthed little employee, This is the place for you.

This is one of the best marinas on the East Coast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are great and clean. The location is just a few blocks from the downtown area and some nice restaurants. There is also a top-notch restaurant, the Aquarium, on site. The food there is great. There are two basins. The south basin has floating docks and the north basin has fixed docks. They have an excellent fuel dock, secure gates, excellent security, very clean modern bathrooms, laundry facilities, and a great boaters' lounge that is accessed by the gate key. The lounge has a sink, microwave, and bar area along with a TV and computer access. It is huge. The marina is also a great hurricane hole.
