John Chesnut Sr. Park, Palm Harbor

This park is somewhat off the beaten trail and sometimes is not as crowded as others. The park is not huge, but has more trails than most visitors will be able to cover in a single full day. The best thing about the park is its raised walkways that take you overtop of the marsh. You are almost walking on water much of the time, and the views of the lake are worth the legwork. The shelters are fine, just like shelters at any other park, and the doggy area is clean with two areas for bigger and smallers pups and has water available there for your pet.
