What a great place to visit!

Beautiful nature trails, nice interpretive center with hands-on exhibits and lots of captive wildlife. They house some permanently injured birds of prey as well as a song bird aviary. They have an assortment of reptiles and amphibians in their center. They also are an alternative energy education center. They offer entertainment the second Saturday of every month in their "Fireside Concert" series. This could be anything from a band, a drum circle, a Native American group, or a talent night. If the weather is bad they move it indoors into their beautiful "cabin-feel" multipurpose room. They always have a fun s'mores intermission. Local environmental groups also have their meetings here which are open to the public. They often have amazing speakers. They offer guided tours and occassionally have special programs like night hikes. They even offer a great summer camp for kids.
