Rosa Fiorelli Winery, Bradenton

My wife and I went on the way back from a wedding July 26 2009. It was well worth the trip. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I learned a lot about wine tasting, growing grapes, and the process that goes into making wine.

Genuine, homey, very friendly. I felt like I'd stopped at a family vineyard along the road in Italy. I was taken on a tour of vineyard to help me select the best vines for my purpose. My vines are now 4 years old and producing the most tasty grapes. I make a yearly trip each fall.

We ordered 7 of the Cheese, crackers, summer sausage & grapes platters; they were missing the sausage. We all had to stand around in cramped quarters eating from one platter of cheeses and one bowl of crackers. We ran out of crackers when half the cheese was gone. ($70 for less than 2 pounds of cheese, some crackers and 7 wine glasses was hardly a deal!) The vineyard tour was ok, but would not recommend this place because of the cost. Do not take the time to visit this place. Go to the winery in St. Petersburg instead. Not only was it (St Pete) more enjoyable, but the wine was better and the gift shop was fun.
