Desoto Square Mall, Bradenton

Awful Place,Smelly just awful! Do yourself a favor and stay safe!

DeSoto Mall in Bradenton has a fine collection of stores... to meet most of a shopper's needs. It is easy to locate, lots of good parking around it. I've shopped here for 20 years... and found this mall to be safe, accessible and having stores I want to shop in.

I have traveled all over and work in upper Retail Corp world, This Victorias secret is by far the best managed, staffed , merchandised, friendly , professional location by far. Who ever is running this business deserves kudos to the max. Thank You for an excellent memorable experience.

this mall is right in the middle of the bad part of bradenton, it is one of those places wear the local gangs buy their gold jewelry. definitely go to either the brandon mall, sarasota square mall, or the tyrone mall if you don't want to be scared to go shopping oh and by the way this is coming from a working class teenager

It seems like there are a lot of things happening at DeSoto Square. They just received a new Victoria's Secret store along with Pac Sun, Lids, and Sunglass Hut. The building is older, but it's still a great place to go and shop. They have Macy's and Dillard's and Aeropostale. I would definitely go back.

i love the variety of stores and how happy it all seems. it also has a good dollar theatre to watch movies whenever you feel bored

IF you are a business owner, this is the type of mall you would want to be in. Although there are a lot of kids hanging out as some of the other reviews pointed out, that is part of what makes this a good mall. If you sell what they are looking for, you will do well in this mall. The bathrooms could use some improvement, but they are not that bad. Of course there is a lot of traffic there, so it's expected that during the middle of a rush they may not seem so clean. The workers are constantly cleaning, so they are not filthy. There is a large amount of diversity that shops in this mall also when in itself makes this a unique place to shop. Everyone is friendly and most enjoy their jobs. As for shopping, I like this mall much better than Sarasota Square. Sarasota Square considers themselves to be nicer, I'm sure, but it's so stuffy not many people shop there and the prices are high.

The stores are mediocre at best. The food court frequently has flies buzzing around all the tables. The teen mall rats spend a lot of time making loud noises and/or cursing for no apparent reason. The only good thing I can say about DSM is it would be an excellent setting for a movie set in dreary 1973.

walking into this amll you will notice crack in tile, shotty paint jobs on the walls, and mosst of all the stech of a rotting 30+ year old building. The only people who go here are 15 year old gothic kids escaping their parent's homes smoking cigarettes outside or the elderly who come to "exercise". Any other mall is worth the drive to actually enjoy shopping.

this is my mall. i'm a mall rat and if you go.. you will probably find me outside of the footcourt smoking cigarettes with my bestfriends. they have the best food and i love a lot of the stores.
