Boomers!, Boca Raton

I came to Boca Raton on a FIRST Robotics trip from MA for a competition at FAU. After the competition, we went to celebrate at Boomers. Since we had just come from a long day of competition, many students had coats and/or backpacks with them. Since we didn't want to carry them around, they told us we could keep them behind the front desk and they would safe. I wanted to make sure my backpack was safe because I was going to keep my wallet and phone in there, seeing that I would probably be getting soaked on the bumper boats. About 2 hours later, I came back to retrieve my backpack. Just to be sure, I checked my wallet. I was missing $40. Since my backpack had been behind the front desk, I went to the front desk and explained what happened. The receptionist was extremely disrespectful, defensive, and rude. She claimed that I was "cheap" and that I was a "lying little b****". She refused to get a manager or supervisor, and I decided to just deal with my loss and leave. Overall, a poorly managed place.

Dirty, relatively ultra expensive and most games and equipment is broken. Worst of all- i di not and would not leave my kid alone there for a single second. scary population...

This place has gone downhill in the past few years. The air conditioning in the building has been broken for months, possibly even over a year now. Many of the non-redemption machines are in all states of disrepair. If you're going to play regular arcade games, you'll find many of them completely broken, or not functioning the way they should. It seems as if they only care about the redemption (ticket winning) games. The pricing is also outrageous since they switched from tokens to the swipe card system. Where you used to get 4 tokens for $1.00, you now get 3 credits. Most of the newer games which used to be 4 tokens ($1.00) per play, are now 4 credits ($1.33) per play. Games that used to be 3 tokens ($0.75) per play are now 3 credits ($1.00) per play. A very tricky way of doing business, especially considering the state of the place and competing FECs in the area.

the games are awesome and the outdoors really attach you to go again?!

My sister and I went with my 2 young kids and it was a very lowclass crowd! I did not feel safe and their were security guards everywhere if that says anything. Very young children were running around unattended and distracting us while we were trying to play the games that we paid for and the management did nothing. They were very unareceptive and could care less. The managers explained to us outside that they were afraid of their clientelle.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. I HATED THE LOCATION, DIFFICULT TO ACCESS FROM MAIN STREET. SAFE ENVIRONMENT, VERY ENTERTAINING FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. NOT VERY EXPENSIVE. GREAT FOR A SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

The place is a waste of money. The rides as well as the tastless food are overpriced. The are not clean. I will never go back.

Lots of video games, batting cages, miniature golf. Good rainy day attraction for kids of all ages.
