Loxahatchee Everglades Tours

My son and I had never been on an airboat so we were looking forward to this. Unfortunately, even though we took the morning run to avoid the heat, it was still too hot for the wildlife because we only saw two (count 'em, TWO) birds. Other than that, no signs of life at all. The trip (about 45-50 minutes) never went very far into the 'glades, as we could see a housing development along the edge of the 'glades much of the time. Disappointing. Importantly, the price shown on the website reflects a 20% discount. If you actually *want* that 20% off, you have to print out the 20% coupon and take it with you or you'll be unpleasantly surprised. Like me. Even though I wouldn't go again, my 13 y/o son seemed to enjoy himself. Lastly, remember that there is NO shade anywhere during the tour, so make sure to apply lots of sunscreen before you leave your home or hotel.

Had a really good time the people were helpful and knowledgeable. It was very easy to find. We simply followed the map. We saw many alligators and other wildlife. We would gladly go back again.

We have been visiting South Florida for years and always take the family to different parts of the Everglades. This year, we visit Loxahatchee Everglades Tours and had a really great time! Our guide was very knowing of the Everglades and showed us a lot of wildlife like alligators. It was a great trip and not very expensive. I would go again!!!

Very unprofessional!!! No return call to get directions or cost. If I am unable to speak with a rep on the phone I do not think the service is going to be any better upon arrival.

My husband and I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. It was so relaxing and the marsh was beautiful as well as the blue herons. I truly recommend it.

This was a very good experience for my kids. The staff were very friendly and easy going. For what could have been an unpleasant tourist trap, I was very pleased. BTW, I can't imagine how it could have been difficult to find. It is at the very end of the road with a huge AIRBOAT TOURS sign.
