Boca Raton Community Church, Boca Raton

Thought I was at the Boca Raton Country Club Church...Visited several times and found it very difficult to feel connected. Sermons are academic in nature. Music was lacking in energy and enthusiasm. Amazing Facilities and church grounds.

My family and I have been attending Calvary Chapel for the last 5 years but we wanted to try another church. We have been going to Boca Community Church for the past 3 weeks and have loved it! The head pastor and family couldn't be any nicer! The staff we have met we wonderful! We are looking to be new members for sure! PLEASE try it!

the new pastor is a wonderful person; a true servant, and a big change from the previous leadership. the congregation however, although friendly on the surface, can be hard to get to know in depth. some of the long time members have can be quite legalistic, but in general, there is room for every one who wants to be follow the God of the Bible.

The senior pastor is brilliant, the music is the absolute best in South Florida - it has gotten so much better in the past six months to a year, their Christmas Eve service in 2007 was the best special service I have ever attended, the staff is well-trained and obviously really good at their jobs, the facility is beautiful and clean, I have never felt like they stress financial giving; in fact they don't even take up an offering, they just have offering boxes in the lobby, the Children's Ministry is well-organized, the nursery facilities are superb. Can't say enough good things about this church.

My husband and I are middle aged and are looking for a church that we can eventually get involved in, once we retire. Every time we have gone down to the Boca Raton area, we stop into Boca Community Church--we, of course do not know anyone personally, but we see that there is a ton of ministries, that the theology is sound, and the church is "Christ centered", which is the most important thing. We hope that eventually this church will be the one that we can call "home", when we call Florida home, in the coming years. I would highly recommend attending such a Christ centered church that seems to have much to offer all ages.

This place did everything right. I'm a regular attender, and wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. The best part about it is the head pastor, Jonathan Burnham, is absolutely fantastic (by far best in the country, maybe best speaker ever), the interim music director Tony LeBron is also one of the best out there, the rest of the staff is warm, welcoming, and skilled at their positions. The new auditorium is beautiful, the children's ministry is great and my kids love it, the pastor's wife is very nice nice, and his kids are extremely well-behaved. Unlike most churches, this place does not ask for money very much, and has offering boxes instead of passing the offering plate. They do everything right, I can't see one flaw in their system, and I'll continue going here as long as the head pastor stays. Five stars, absolutely fabulous, best church in nation. Period.

We have visited this church several times within the past few months while we were on vacation in Boca Raton. My wife and I found the church very friendly and welcoming. The music was delightful and very much enjoyed, and the message delivered from the Sr. pastor was an excelent, Christ-centered sermon. We plan to visit this church everytime we are in Boca on a Sunday in the future.

Our family attended for the first time this past week. The children's ministry was great and the couple in charge of it were helpful and very professional. The singing and atmosphere in the service was great and the people sitting close to us were warm and friendly. We did not hear the Head Pastor speak but the pastor that did speak did a superb job, so we are looking forward to returning to hear the head pastor.
