Not the nicest place...

This marina says they are "friendly" at the bottom of their website. Not much the case if you arrive at their marina on a paddle board or kayak. I was stunned to have 3 employees of this place come out and greet me because I was paddling a board in the marina. They said the marina is "private" and I had even passed a sign that said I needed to check-in before entering the marina. No such sign exists. I am happy to say that I live and work in Englewood and also operate my boat on these same waters a couple times a week. I will not bother trying to buy gas, have lunch or dinner or anything else at this facility. There are much nicer & friendlier facilities near by. I would vote to pass this one up...

Excellent Stay!

We pulled in after a week of sailing down SW Florida. We were greated by no less than three able bodied people to take our lines and tie us up. The price was very reasonable and the facilities were spotless. The pool is large and heated, with a hot tub. We had a few drinks and an app. at Leverock's, which was nice, and then took the water taxi over to Rum Bay for $3 RT. I would highly recommend taking that over to see Rum Bay. Even the water taxi driver was friendly, courteous and funny! We'll be staying there next year when we do the trip again. I'm writing this today because I just got their thank-you card in the mail. We've not had this good of service at any marina between and including Tampa and Boca Grande/Charlotte Harbor.
