I wanted to write this review in response to the previous review. My daughter has been taking classes at this studio for three years from the time she was three years old. She loves going. She has taken classes with two different instructors and has really liked both of them. The students' progress determines whether they can move up to the next class level. This attention to detail has produced older dancers with amazing technical abilities. My daughter has worked hard to be in the class that she is in and it would be unfair to the class as well as the child if the studio was to allow them to advance before they are ready. Our family loves the Dance Conservatory and more importantly they have nurtured a love of dance in my daughter.
The owners and instructors donot care about the younger students. There are so many young students they only care about profits. The young dancers age 3-7 donot get the individual attention that they need to keep them focus and interested in the art of dance. My daughter liked dancing very much but after attending this school she is no longer interested. When I asked about the training they told me that I did not know anything about dance and that the instructors are renown and they know better. My input and opinion in how my child was learning was devalued and not important to them. I honestly and seriouly do not recommend this dance company to anyone unless you want to hear from the owners and instructors about how good they are and how bad your kid is so that they can stay another year in the same class which means more money for the studio.
