Dover Skating Center, Dover

I was there to buy food at the food area when one of the people working the cash register at the food area gave me an attitude after I asked what I wanted because they were all out of food. The person asked me if I was being serious so I just walked away and never went back.

There is no cusomer service. Our party was scheduled for 7pm to 10pm. We arrived at 7pm - the cake and icecream at 720. We handed both over to attendee...the icecream was to be placed in the freezer, but when it was brought to the table at 845 it wascomplotely melted. When I addressed it with manager Virgil, he simply walked my husband back to the freezer to show us that his freezer worked and accuse of of bringing in melted icecream. On top of that -my husband and I being the adult chaperones invited another guest in at 915pm to remove gifts, cake and icecream. They charged me another 8.50 just to come in and help. It was disgusting how I was talked to first by the manager Virgil then by the owner. I did ask for a 2.00 refund for skate rental fee charge to my adult guest that was there but never planned to skate. Also children that were dropped off by parents were not monitored in bathrooms. Preteen boys and girls just hang out around bathrooms making out- never leave kids there.

I LOVE THIS PLACE ITS MY HOUSE i love going there i go there every friday and me and my friends chill there! If u ever go look for the kid(s) with blond hair and with 429 pro skates and thats 3 of us!

Took my daughter here every week during the summer and had a blast. She was so busy with skating that I almost forgot she was out there. She's been going here since she was 4yrs shes 11 now and still loves coming here and so do I!

This is a great and inexpensive place to take the children and to have them get some exercise in their lives. For $15 we paid for admission for three and skates for two and a nice snack (consisting of three drinks, two slices of pizza and nachos). It may not be state of the art but who needs that. We were out and had fun for under $20 how often can you do that?

I liked the great atmosphere the rink provided. If someone fell the would immediatly blow thier whistle and help the person up. The food is good too. Even strangers are friendly and they play a variety of music its a great place for you and your kids or friends to go.
