Played 3 rounds there this past weekend as part of a group of 16. Wow!, What a treat! The Head PGA Pro, Tom, was an exceptional host and his entire staff were extremely courteous and helpful. There were many locals that we were paired with that again were admirable and very friendly. The course was challenging, well manicured, and had grand views of the mountains. Can't wait until next year!
Bring a few extra golf balls. This course is fun to play, with lots of surprises the first time out. The greens are in excellent condition, mostly quite large and very challenging. General maintenance is very good and the fairways generous, but do stay on the short grass. That miss hit may be lost forever.
The modern clubhouse has an indoor/outdoor restaurant offering exceptionally good food.
Overall, a very pleasant and challenging golf experience. We look forward to playing Haymaker for the fifth time.
Great course for the entire family. Nestled(I love that word)in the valley 3 miles from town is an enjoyable well maintained and managed links style course that proved challenging at times and sometimes ordinary. One thing that is not ordinary is the great view of the mountains which is spectacular! Price as a resident is a great value however non-resident rates are a bit pricey .Played it six times in '04 and can't wait to tee it up again next summer.
