Great Time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/06
My family and I have returned to steamboat year after year and our vacation wouldn't be complete without a trip up the elk river to High Mountain Snowmobile Tours. Their friendly and fun staff has never showed us anything but a GREAT time and we will continue to return for years to come....

Customer Service - NOT
By DOUGLAS, 01/10/06
Trails are great. However, the company owner does not understand customer service. My family took a tour and were placed with several other families. We had equipment failure which took our guide 30 minutes to fix. In addition, one of the ladies from the other group drove her snowmobile extremely slow. This combination prevented the entire group from being able to drive freely in an open meadow (versuses simply following the guide through the trails). When we expressed our dissatifaction (my family really wanted to ride freely in the meadow) and the owner was only willing to provide us with a 10% discount. So for an extremely pricey tour, we got to drive snowmobiles extremely slow, stand around for 30 minutes and missed the part of the tour we wanted the most.
