What a Great Place!
By Mootzie, 09/17/06
I would go back here many times. Why? Well, visit the website first and you get a coupon off admission price for $3.00 per person good for up to 10 people. And the place is clean, the people are nice, and they don't rob you on concessions like most amusement parks do. Santa really looks great here, and he's in his house saying "hi" to the kids all day - pictures are optional and at an extra cost. Lots of things to do, shopping, and great rides for kids that are smaller. If I had children that were older than .. I'd say 8 or 9, I wouldn't bring them here because it's not a good value for them. But for the little ones, it's a blast and a half and it doesn't break Mommy's pocketbook to go there. Food is very reasonable - it cost us $16. for two adults and one child to eat lunch - same as we would have spent at fast food anyway. Great rides, great atmosphere, oh - and not crowded either and we went here on a Saturday. Lots of fun - can't wait to go back.

OK, but not a "must see".
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/06
We took our 3 year old hear while visiting Colorado. It was OK; she had a good time and enjoyed seeing Santa Claus. The rides aren't any different from what you can ride at any school picnic or amusement park. We also thought it was a little pricy - $50 for the myself, my wife, and our daughter, and we probably spend 2 hours there at the most. If your time and budget is limited you will not miss much by skipping this. But, if you have some time and are looking for someplace to take the little ones, this will keep them entertained for a little while.

Fun day for the price
By rickbrennanrn, 05/07/06
We are from Florida, so there is an expectation for "theme" parks. This is a great day for smaller kids, 8 & under. Not as fun for the bigger ones. Cutely decorated, borders on cheesy at times. Rides are perfect for toddlers, a few for adults/bigger kids. Wide variety of interesting shops. Some shows geared towards the little ones. You can't beat the price, plus a year round Santa. But hem in your expectations and send the teens to Six Flags in Denver.

Tourist Trap
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/30/05
Our kids we so very excited to stop at the "North Pole" while visiting the greater Colorado Springs area. We stopped by, expecting there to be an option for a short stop, other than a generic gift shop with Christmas decorations that you can get at Wal-Mart. There was NO atmosphere in the gift shop and the entrance to the park itself was over priced. Needless to say we and the kids were very disappionted. The only good thing was the teachable moment of what tourist traps are and how sometimes the idea of something just does not live up to reality.

We look forward to it every year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/05
It is family friendly in a beautiful setting in the Colorado mountains. Fun in the summer as well as the winter. Santa is the highlight of our children's visit every year. They even receive a letter from him before Christmas to remind them to be good. Riding the train is an enjoyable experience and the sweet shop is the best.

Fun to go
By BrianH, 10/18/05
Santa's Workshop is definitely a good place to take the family. Not only does it have attractions suited to children, but the staff are very friendly and will help anoyone find where they need to go. It's also got very good prices, especially if you bring in an empty coca-cola can for a admission discount.

What a wonderful day
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/05
We took our grandchildren, ages 3 and 5, for the day. We had a wonderful time. The rides are perfect for kids as well as adults. They loved the magic show! Of course the favorite was Santa, they had such a good time that my grandaughter went back to tell Santa Thanks for letting her come play at his house. Prices are great too. Customer service is awesome! We left a package there accidently and when I called to ask about it, they offered to send it to me and I received it the next day! I can't say enough good things about the North Pole!!!

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/05
I took my 2 yr old for the first time and I can't say enough good things about it! No lines, LOTS of rides for the lil' ones and they are safe! (harnesses, safety belts). It's a great place for the whole family! (lots of big kid rides too!) Can't wait for it to open this year! Get there early so you can see & ride everything! Your kids will love it!
