Yampah Spa & Salon, Glenwood Springs

I come every year and love it but since your two wonderful managers Jackie and marie are not there is not the same they alway were polite and well dress. your other managers are rude and not in to the spa you sould think about your bussines frist. Now that the country is not doing good because with the managers you have now you will lose money. I will not come any more will go better to the other spa in the pool but still love the cave.

My friend and I decided to spend Labor Day weekend in Glenwood Springs because we had heard good things about this spa and went for the express purpose of getting a massage, which we booked several weeks in advance. Upon arriving at the spa at our scheduled time we were told that 2 of their massage therapists had called in sick that day and they were "hoping we would be okay with switching to a facial or something." Since it was a holiday weekend we knew any other spas in the area would be booked so we settled for different treatments. The staff did not even offer us a discount of any kind for the inconvenience and disappointment. A phone call that morning warning us of the change in plans would have been nice too.

I read all the good the reviews about this place, and this was one of the main reasons for choosing Glenwood Springs as our vacation this year. When I booked the reservations for me and my husband, the receptiontists were very rude, but I went ahead with it. I was told my vapor cave was included with my spa pkg. But when I arrived, I had to pay extra for it! but I did because I wanted the experience. The girls at the counter were very unhelpful and just gave me a towel and a robe and I had to figure out what to do with it all!...I wasted so much time because I didn't know what to wear or what to do in the cave. My husband came later on that day, and they told him they would show him what do once he got there, and he waited 30 minutes in their solarium before anyone told him what to do...After the vapor cave, which was weird to say the least, I had the weirdest lady give my massage and facial. She was dirty looking and I was kinda scared! It was the worse massage I have ever had and for 2 days afterwards, I was so sore that I thought maybe she had pulled/cracked something!...Her nails needing cutting as well, which didn't make the experience relaxing at all..For the money you have to pay, I would just do the vapor cave and compare all the spas for facials, massages, etc...

The vapor cave was awesome. I have never been more relaxed in my life. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly folks. The price was very inexpensive for the Vapor Cave. For $13.00 I was given a towel, proper clothing, and had an all day pass to the vapor cave. Then upon leaving was told that I could come back anytime that day for free and enjoy myself again.

I loved this spa. I have really bad allergies and sometimes get overwhelmed with being sick. I did the mineral caves followed up by a mud bath and then a massage. I have never felt better. Out of anything I most suggest the mud bath. Everyone at the place was very friendly and I will definitely be going back again.

Yampah is a very relaxing place. The music sets the tone, and the quiet atmosphere is wonderful. I spent the whole day there and had the best massage, facials, and body wraps! And the caves are phenominal.
