The staff was very nice and professional. My pedicure included a wonderful massage. However, they would not honor a gift certificate (purchased with cash) as it had expired. I understand not honoring a promotion or a sale after an expiration date, but not honoring a gift certificate is ridiculous. I will not be returning to this location for this reason. I would caution anyone against purchasing a gift certificate from Elements. There are other spas in town without expiration dates on their gift certificates.
I have moved away from Fort Collins, but still make a point to come in for a half day spa package every time I come back to visit. The owner makes every attempt to maintain a warm, welcoming environment for guests, and I have always received the utmost in quality for my massages, facials, and pedicures. The skin care line is produced locally in Colorado and is a wonderful balance between botanical ingredients and effectiveness. The estheticians have always been very knowledgeable, and whether I get waxing or skin care services, I always come out feeling refreshed and happy with the results.
I have had massages from nearly all the massage therapists that have worked there since 2004, and enjoyed the way sessions were tailored depending on my needs that day.
The pedicure services have always been wonderful there, too. For some reason, despite refraining from the use of gels and acrylics, my toenail polish has always lasted longer than anywhere else.
The current location is a beautiful old building, which the owners remodeled and made into a cozy place to be. Despite my love of the building, I am looking forward to my next visit in the new location, as a few updates like better parking and new flooring will certainly enhance the entire experience. As traffic on Harmony expanded, it was more and more difficult to get into and out of the parking area at the old location.
Elements is the best spa in Fort Collins! They have a great staff and wonderful atmosphere. The massages there are amazing and the estheticians know more about skin than any other place I have been. I definetly think Elements is the place to go if you are looking for a spa in the Fort Collins area.
Extremely disappointed by the massage! The therapist didn't listen to what I wanted or needed and her technique was very poor!!! I left in the middle of the appointment and she didn't even bother to ask why. The front desk person didn't even care that my service was poor (she didn't even ask!).
I went inside to inquire about setting up and appointment. The front desk hostess was extremely rude and short with me. After seeing how she treated me, I immediately turned around and walked out. I'm sure the rest of the spa would have been fine, but they should put more consideration into who they hire to be a customers' first impression of the place. First impressions are everything and this girl should NOT be "greeting" customers! I took my business elsewhere.
I booked a spa day for my sister for her birthday at Elements. Upon arrival, the front desk hostess was snooty. She was answering her cell phone and discussing her weekend plans. My sister was taken back for a facial and I later learned that the esthetician spent 15 of the 30 minute facial on painful extractions. She gave my sister no choice in the matter and then insulted her by saying that she is not taking good care of her skin. The same woman did her manicure and pedicure and my siter said that she did not say one word to her the entire time. I was very disappointed as my sister has never been to a spa and I really wanted this experience to be relaxing and enjoyable. I will never return and would encourage anyone thinking about booking to explore your options before going to Elements.
I have been going to Elements Day Spa since they first opened sometime around 2001. The owners made it a point to remember my name whenever I visited. They truly go out of their way to give every visitor a memorable experience. They envite you to linger as long as you like and they serve water, hot teas and an assortment of nibble food. The ambiance was decorated by a Feng Shui expert. I am always recommending them to my friends and family and I look forward to returning there myself.
