It is low cost and a little piece of heaven right in the middle of town..you dont have to go far to experience a real working farm and your kids can grow up learning about the great old way of farming!
Lee Martinez Farm is a wonderful time spent with your children. Every visit has always been a highly enjoyable and peaceful outing. I have always been amazed and so appreciated that there has not been a few until recently. And considering the sweet environment they provide, a small fee is worth every penny. We have attended a birthday party and even through rainy weather the kids all had a terrific time. I highly recommend the Farm and so appreciate it!
A great place to take the kids. They love the animals and animals are almost always out. The horses are often occupied, but little ones are thrilled to be there, regardless.
There is a playground, a gift shop, a hand water pump which fascinates toddlers, and a pony ride pen.
They do host birthday parties for a fee, but I have heard the fee is expensive for the little you get. Instead, families can picnic at neighboring Lee Martinez Park and then stroll around the farm and book pony rides for the party-goers.
Visitors should be sure to provide donations or to purchase items at the gift shop. Without cash donations and the gift shop, the farm loses some income.
