Nice weather nice scenery and good trails. But what a dissapointment from the start we mentioned to the guide it looks like the sled is leaking coolant.. response "'i over filled it" 20 minutes up the trail the sled over heats so now we have to return to the bottom where we started. so basically we lost an hour from the trip. i should have demanded my money at this point. the sled i then was given had throttle problems i had to continually squeeze the throttle as if i was pumping it. to my experience this sled belongs in the repair shop. i felt completely taken advantage of the sled is broken an hr was lost on the trip and all i wanted to do was get of this broken sled. Will i return to sanford and sons(cottonwood country snowmobiles)? I doubt it. All i want is a refund.
My husband and I went on a tour with Cottonwood during our honeymoon. It was snowing lightly, but it was a blast. The tour guide, Drew, was kind and knowledgable about the trails. He was also appropriately safe... telling us when to be extra cautious, but letting us truly enjoy ourselves. It was a really small tour... and there were no other snowmobiles out. So, we had an amazing time.
Did the Taylor Pass all day trip. The guides were friendly and gave plenty of instructions so I did not feel stupid about not know what to do.
Most of the trip was on a main road, but we also got to ride around a couple of open fields without having to follow someone in a line.
A great time, even of you have not done it before.
