Country Boy Mine, Breckenridge

I have been on several gold mine tours in my 45 years, and the Country Boy Mine is the most realistic and authentic! This historical attraction is just that, they take you back in time to the 1880's and you get to see, feel, hear and almost experinece what it was like to be a miner. The mine was cold, wet, dark, and a little intimidating. No sugar coating here - it was real! The new owner gave our family a tour and he gauranteed that at the end of the tour, no one in our group will want to be an 1880's gold miner - and he was right! I wanted to know how you bought a gold mine, but was told us that is another story.
