This whimsical playground for children and families is open late June through late September and it is perfect for a picnic or small birthday celebration. Supervised activities for children are available.
I recently brought my 4 year old daughter here and she had a blast. The fee was not a big deal, I'd gladly pay more for the extremely well kept park. It is clean, quiet, and an overall great place for kids to play. I love that it is enclosed which allows the children to run freely without any worry. I recommend this park to all the moms I know. We live about 15 minutes away across the bridge - but there arent any parks near us that even come close to the updated play structures and overall fun environment Childrens Wonderland Park offers. The different areas, from a firetruck, train, 2 story hotel and station, teacups, cinderell carriage, and a great sized playground structure. This park definitely has is all. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would.
This park is fantastic! From the imagination place spaces to the modern jungle gym and activities while you're there...this place is amazing! My kids act like we're going to Disney Land every time we go! I don't mind the admission fee one bit because it supports the park and keeps people who don't need to be there out. Pack a lunch and spend the afternoon because there's so much to do.
It's new and enclosed. I feel safe that adults cannot come in without a child. plus everyone has to pay. That means they are not gonna be crowded for people who doesn't have to do in there. The entrance is reasonable. We love the sandbox, themed dinasours. My children has to be drag out from this place, so that we can go home. The landscaping is nice. There's something for all kid's age. They also have different things to do in-store for kids at everyday. So everyday, there's always something new. The picnic tables are plenty too! It's clean and the staff are friendly. Good job GVRD!
Vallejo has done a very good job of renovating this park for children. I have 3 boys (4, 6, and 8)who have a blast every time we go. We even celebrated our 4-year-olds birthday there. There is an oversized game board where the children can play chess or checkers, a renovated vintage fire truck, a sand pit with a water feature where kids can excavate dinosaur fossils or build sand castles,a quaint trickling stream that kids can control w/the push of a button, spinning teacups and a steaming teapot w/a slide, swings, and lots of play/climbing structures with plenty of room to run around--and more. My kids always have fun there, and can spend hours playing in the different areas. Parking is easy, it's clean, not crowded, and it's only $2 per person to enter. Pack a picnic and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun in this whimsical, unique park that stimulates children's imaginations (a rare treat in this electronic world).
