Children's Wonderland, Vallejo

Vallejo has done a very good job of renovating this park for children. I have 3 boys (4, 6, and 8)who have a blast every time we go. We even celebrated our 4-year-olds birthday there. There is an oversized game board where the children can play chess or checkers, a renovated vintage fire truck, a sand pit with a water feature where kids can excavate dinosaur fossils or build sand castles,a quaint trickling stream that kids can control w/the push of a button,spinning teacups and a steaming teapot w/a slide, swings, and lots of play/climbing structures with plenty of room to run around--and more. My kids always have fun there, and can spend hours playing in the different areas. Parking is easy, it's clean,not crowded, and it's only $2 per person to enter. Pack a picnic and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun in this whimsical, unique park that stimulates children's imaginations (a rare treat in this electronic world).
