Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Santa Cruz

I have never been to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. However, my son visited them over 2 months ago with his grandmother. He lost his wallet with his SS# card in it. The one time I let him have his SScard for id he loses it. Over 2 months had gone by and I was convinced my son was going to have a lifetime of problems with his credit because the wrong person found his wallet. Yesterday, I recieved a package with his wallet in it. Santa Cruz Boardwalk found his wallet and mailed it back to us in Georgia at their own expense. I was very shocked and very grateful for their help. A company that shows such personal care of their customers is something that is dying in this world. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for finding his wallet and making sure it got back us. We will be forever grateful. I will make a special trip just to visit you when I'm on the west coast!! Thank you thank you Thank you!!

The traffic was absolutely awful, terrible, couldn't be worse took us hours ib hwy 17 the day before the 4th. Tomorrow is the 4th and I wouldn't try to get down there to see the fire works I don't care how great or if I was paid a months pay to do it. We left Concord at 10:00am and didn't get on the beach untill 4:00 and we never stopped once. Once we hit town there was so much traffic it was crazy and parking was impossible. I mean impossible. We sat and waited after being dropped off on the wharf after taking a half hour to find d spot to parkfor my husband to find another spot that didn't cost a arm and a leg to park and he was gone 2 and a half hours! It made the day a real drag. Some places get too darn popular and on this holiday I'd advoid it like the plague.

Loved the boardwalk and the oldest roller coaster around! The beach is cool but sorta on the littered side. But you can over look all that because its just a realy cool town not far from San Francisco.

Staff wonderful, place very fun, moneys worth. Lines take less the 5 mins. at least on mondays. You should go check it out

great time duriring day hours...creepy at down because we did not know the place...the night time was safe and fun for the teenagers to hang at the arcade and bowling...the rides?...awesome!!! the people?...BEAUTIFUL...caring and helpful...five stars...Santa Cruz ROCKS!

I love going to the boardwalk..it's awesome!! The atmosphere is alot of fun...but I went to the restaurant Barbary Coast recently and it was the worst food ever!! and for soo much money!! On top of that, their customer service wasn't good either. I would suggest going to a different place to eat...there are plenty of options :)

omg! U HAVE TO GO THERE YOU WILL LOVE IT IT IS LIKE NEVER ENDING FUN .BUT BUY A WRIST BAND FOR MORE FUN OR GO TO THE CONCERTS ON THE BEACH THEY ROCK!!! GO NOW WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAVE FUN!!!! WEAR TENERSHOES SO YOU CAN GO ON ALL OF THE RIDES

This place is great.And who dosent love a good rollorcoaster.I suggest you check it out.

I absolutely love the Boardwalk. I've been going there since I was young, and have progressed from such timeless kiddie rides like cave Train to the thrilling Giant Dipper and Fireball. The park maintains it's Coney Island-esque charm while still keeping up with newer parks. Very inexpensive compared to Disneyland, and never as crowded! The local feel and beachy atmosphere will have you relaxed and having fun in no time1

We had a BLAST at The Boardwalk!! Our kids loved it and so did we. The boardwalk is a great Historic Landmark, I would not change anything!! The rides were fun and the deep fried twinkle was GOOD. Everything from our hotel, tickets to the boardwalk, and the food was inexpensive. I spent way more money at Disneyland in one day than I did at the boardwalk for the weekend. We stayed at the Carousel Motel which was across the street to the Boardwalk. I paid less than $150 for the weekend. The hotel was Not bad. It was clean and the front desk was VERY nice. We went to town and yes, there are homeless people but to tell you the truth, they were cleaner than the ones in Los Angeles. Santa Cruz is VERY clean. I didn't see any trash on the ground. IF you go NORTH 6miles you will end up in the Redwoods. We went on a Train Ride at Roaring Camp. It was GREAT!! We had such a great time-- Can't wait to go back!!!!!
