River Oaks Golf Course

The best kept secret in town! Due to the overwhelming heat that we are not used to.... we opted to go to this little 6 hole course early in the morning. It was just the fix we needed to get our game in before the heat and wine tasting. The beautiful surroundings in the morning hours was breath taking. Staff is very friendly and we decided to go around one more time. (You can go around 3 times at a discounted rate to get all 18 holes in!) After a day of winetasting.... we hit the spa that is just next door to the golf course and had massages and a soak in their mineral spa with wine served tubside. We were staying at La Quinta which was all in the same neighborhood and one of the better LaQuinta's I have stayed at! We have already ear-marked our calendars for another visit. As they advertise... It was an exceptional experience.

Fantastic! Perfect place to take my kids to learn golf! Greens are good, a little windy when I was there but still playable. Golf with me and 2 kids for $20! I can't take the kids to a movie for that!

We are "regulars" at the Restaurant, River Oaks Golf Course. Staff warm, friendly, Dinners excellent, reasonable, service always prompt, a hidden jewel in a lovely setting! Preston Family, San Jose, Ca.
