Hollywood Wax Museum
Get your own little slice of Hollywood and catch a glimpse of your favorite stars in rare form—wax, that is. Here, with a showcase of over 100 stars, you'll be surrounded in all the glitz and glamour tinseltown has to offer. It takes approximately three months, up to USD25,000, and a great deal of artistry to bring these talented actors to life. The Hollywood Wax Museum prides itself on the authenticity of its representations, and you're sure to notice it too! The museum is also alongside many other Hollywood attractions, like Grauman's Chinese Theatre , and accomodations like the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel .
Our kids had a fabulous time at the Hollywood Wax Museum. Would like to see Elvis in his older years, although the young replica was smokin’! The staff was very helpful, and I was thankful that we were able to skip the Chamber of Horrors without missing anything else. It was a wonderful experience.
The Mrs. dragged the kids and I took to this location. I was a bit skeptical on how it would be entertaining. It was a hoot. The kids and I enjoyed ourselves standing next to the wax dummies. I'll go back 5 years from now to see what has changed. They were pretty current with the "popular figures.
I thought this was GREAT!! Im a teenager and i loved it, its great for the whole family! I dont know about the scary movie section, i didnt go in there because it was,... well scary for me! Otherwise, IT WAS GREAT!
I loved the Hollywood Wax museum! Its a great place to go with a loved one and check out all the real looking waxed people. It has a really interesting beginning with horror character, that will send chills up your back! I loved it so much, go check it out!
If you like ghouls, go on in. We enjoyed the old and new monsters (Dracula, Phantom, Freddy, Jason, Crypt Keeper). The “famous folks” weren’t that great (Tom, Haly, Gwyneth –I think that was supposed to be her). I read that it was not the best quality wax museum and I agree. My expectations were low so I was not disappointed. We had a good time though AND they validate parking from the Hollywood and Highland garage. Recommended if you're into "tourity" fun.
This landmark building is one of Hollywood's most recognized icons. In the lobby are featured gold albums by many well
known artists. In addition, be sure to see the Capitol artists's stars on the sidewalk near the building.
Anyone longing for a piece of Tinseltown history should certainly spend some time at Whitley Heights. Some of the most
impressive homes in Hollywood are found here. All of the homes were developed in the 20s and 30s by ...
Many people visit this theater not to see first run motion pictures, but to gaze at the famous hand and
footprints outside. It's a quintessential L.A. tourist ritual and well worth the trip. The theater itself is one of ...
