Universal Studios, Universal City

First thing… it is not bad for young children (up to 7 or 8), but I would not recommend it. Mainly because most of the shows and rides are loud and flashy, and could be scary for young kids. If anything I would suggest some form of ear plugs if they are sensitive to load noise. My 9 year old and 12 year old LOVED it. Some things scared the 9 year old a little (like the Mummy ride), but he wouldn’t stop talking about the park the whole ride home. I had to promise to take them back next weekend. The nice thing about the Park is every ride and attraction is GREAT! It’s non-stop excitement. Lines move fast, and they use portable water misters and fans all over the park and in outdoor lines. Indoor lines have AC. So even on a hot day it’s not bad at all. You have to plan your day right to get to see everything. I recommend a full day or two shorter days. Like the Animal Actors show, Water World show is a little older, but I love it every time I see it. Action packed stunts and entertainment. Other shows and rides are newer and use 3D a lot, but are used in new ways, with 360degree 3D screens (king Kong on the tram tour) and multiple 3D screens along the rides (transformers). And live actors using lasers and lighting props (terminator). Random street shows are fun to watch though out the park too. Snacks are a tad high in price, but the food is fair priced for an amusement park. I recommend the ribs at Flintstones BBQ. SoCal residence get a buy a day- get a year free. So even if you think admission is a little high priced, you can take advantage of free returns. And if you like soda, I recommend buying the souvenir cups, and get .99c refills all day long. Otherwise you will spend too much for sodas on a hot day. You can use credit/debit cards for parking ($15), snacks, and food, so not much cash is needed at all. It's differant from other types of theme parks, so you can't compare it. I have been dozens of times, and love going every time. So you have to go at least once to see for yourself.

I like this place cause who doesn't like movies? and remember my first time here. now i brought my kids, build memories. the only thing i did not like was the Asian tourist groups, the ones with the flags. will we waited in like for a refill, there must of been 20 or so the just cut in front of us to go thru. At different times and stands, the people in front of me got pushed, they did Not apologize. kept walking without caring for others ,this happens all the time. They might have a higher IQ. But they lake basic manners. So watch out for them. well At least i used them as an example for my kids, on how not to be so inconsiderate for others.

The shows and other attractions were fine. I was just disgusted with the ladies restrooms. the sinks and faucets had so much mold, mildew or what ever all that black stuff is. I was so dissapointed that a landmark like Universal Studios cannot maintain a better hygeine in their toilets. I just wonder if their maintenace/ house keeping managers do not see it.. To make matters worse, the water/ faucets does not run long enough to allow one to really wash their hand properly - as a result, one is forced to be in the dirty sink area longer. The management should do something about this. This is a disgrace for the studio. How sad that they have no eye for hygeine. They are so occupied with trying to upgrade technology I suppose. The all you can eat buffet uption is not worth it. Safe your money and eat at your favorite restaurant instead. The buffet is only offered at specific restaurants where the lines are long, food is cheap, and not so tasty. Apart from the above, its a nice place to visit. We spent two days there and my family and I enjoyed ourselves. My heart would only skip a heart beat when my kids and I would need to use the rest rooms. I will be calling management to state my disapointment- hoping they will clean things up before I am forced to go back there.

If you're in Southern California, even for just a few days, Universal Studios is a must see! Great over-the-top attractions, entertainment, great food, and the friendliest staff I've ever encountered for an amusement park. King Kong actually lived up to the hype and I can't wait for Transformers! Highly Recommended.

what i liked was that there i could have lots of fun and never get bored! wow its just a wonderful place to go and be so happy wow!! its just amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked everything about it.It had one of my favorite rollercoasters the mummy ride.It also had the studio tour which was awesome!And it had the simpsons ride which made me feel like I was in a video game.And there was water world which was an awesome water stunt show.And there was a show on how the movies work which was called special effects stages.And there was the Terminator 2 3d which was this awesome show where they use lasers.And there was the house of horrors.And the animal actors show.So if your looking for family fun get on out to Universal Studios.

This park did not live up to its counterparts in other countries. The 3 rides were stale and short, while the other shows were very uninteresting. The Waterworld show was one of the few attractions worth paying admission for, as well as the studio tour (if you are a movie buff). The admission was steep and only a handful of attractions were worthwhile.

i practically loved this place because of all the intricate designs of all the inspiration for each ride and showings that were so creative. It was like a million eisteins created it! In my opinion this attraction is totally worth the time and money in fact we needed even more time to experience everything there. Because you do not want to miss out on anything here at universal studioes! Also i would like to add that this is a place i will surely recommend to others.

universal studios is a fun park to go and visit. But if your gonna go all the way to orlando florida dont waste your time here. Just a couple miles away is the best place ever! Walt disney world, orlando! Being the number one wedding, honeymoon, and most visited place IN THE WORLD, it doesnt disapoint. People say its only for little kids but there wrong. This place has some of the most fastest and fun rides! It has so many things to do! Its just so much fun! Dont waste your time at universal studios. you will regret you did
