I absolutely LOVED the wine here. Most wineries I visit I like one maybe two of the wines they make, I didn't "like" a single wine at Sarah's Vineyard, I LOVED all of them! Especially the Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay. Their Syrah is outstanding. I am watering at the mouth just writing this. The estate itself is beautiful. Right off of Mount Madonna on the eastern side, they are about a mile from the redwoods in a small micro-climatic valley. The tasting room is nicely done and is a pleasant place to linger in. They have a large flat screen display showing very artistic pictures of the winery, vineyards and past events. The staff is genial and not a bit snobby. They will tell you as much or as little about wine and the vineyards as you like. Prices are mid to high range and everything is very fairly priced. I joined the wine club and look forward to my wine shipment like a child anticipating Christmas! Does that sound bad? I don't care, this wine is worth the wait. I don't hand out reviews like this often or EVER really. But I will say this: Before you die, visit this winery or your life will be a waste...haha...seriously though...
They seem to always be updating their grounds and or buildings (for the better) it is fun to see the changes every time I stop by. This spot is just getting better and better.
My only complaint is that they don't get the attention they deserve but I guess that means more wine for me!!
I absolutely LOVE the wines these guys produce. I usually only like one or two wines when I visit wineries. Every single wine that Sarah's Vineyard makes is outstanding. The grounds are beautiful, the tasting room is nicely done and staffed with relaxed employees. This is not a pretentious place at all. The wines are fairly priced and they sell some amazing olive oil that is locally produced in small lots. I joined their wine club and I look forward to every shipment like a child anticipates Christmas. Sooo good. They make an excellent Pinot Noir and their Syrah is out of this world. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Go here before you die or your life will be a waste...haha....seriously though. The only complaint I have is that I didn't hear about this place sooner. (they've been there since 1978!)
