Sad Valentine

no one in my company does My husband ordered flowers from GRAND AVENUE FLORAL for Valentine's Day. We have ordered from them numerous times. My husband requested to have them delivered by 11am or before 2pm before I left work. My husband called me at 12pm to see if I received them. Which, I didn't.. Then he called me at 2:30 and obviously, I was out of work. It is very difficult for my husband to call, due to the fact he is in Iraq. He called Grand ave flr; spoke to the manager about the flowers not arriving on time! Manager told him due to the rain they couldn't get there on time. The Manager told my husband she wouldn't have a problem delivery them to our home. However, I told my husband I was going out of town for a couple of days, and that wouldn't be a good idea. My husband told Manager he would try to call her back to see what they could do. Well, unfortunately my husband wasn't able to call back due to phone lines not going through. I came back to work on Tuesday 19th to find wilted and smelly flowers that were delivered after 4pm on the 14th.. They still delivered them, and delivered them way after 2pm... I called the Manager myself. I asked her why they were still delivered, knowing that I wasn't there. Said no one ever called her back. However, I told her she knew I wasn’t going to be there! Told manager I wanted my husband reimbursed. Manager said, all she could do is give him a 20.00-dollar discount or she could send me new flowers.. 'NOW, why would I want new flowers for myself? That special day is over...Manager said there wasn't much she could do for me.. Manager said we shouldn't have accepted them if we didn't want them.. Told her I didn't except anything!! I wasn't even there!! Said it didn't matter. Manager said receptionist accepted them. I asked several times to reimburse my husband.. She plain out refused. I have ordered for Grand AVE FLORIST for 10 YEARS. I will never order from them again. I will make sure either...
