I went for a facial and I felt like I was in a shopping mall. Not to mention that the woman that did my facial told me her life story all in 50 minutes. I also heard that alot of Burke Williams employees are quiting. You have to wonder why??
I have been going to Burke Williams for a few years. The first years were wonderful but my experience has gotten worse progressively. A few times treatment by shortened by at least 10 mins. I was there this weekend for a facial, it ended with a big bang, literally, the esthetician dropped this big plastic pitcher(not sure what it was doing in the room). it startled me. When checking out at the end of the day, i was being charged for an facial upgrade that neither requested nor received. As i was trying to complained, Fuller (Burke employee) would not listen, cut me off mid sentence and called on the next person in line. Although I have to mention Angie( the other Burke employee), stepped in and made things right.
I have been to this spa several times and the massages have been "average" so this time I decided to look on the ineternet for recommendations from reviewers on favorite massage therapists. I read a couple people recommended "Bill" for the shiatsu/swedish massage and booked with him. He definitely lived up to his reviews and then some. I felt like he was so in tune with every point of my body and instinctually knew where I needed extra attention. If you want a great massage do yourself a favor and book with him!!! :)
Really disappointed with phone customer service. Never really been treated with such disregard when there has been an issue. The staff at the locations have been to have been wonderful and the spa services themselves are great but otherwise a huge thumbs down.
I just called to make reservations for 3 and Darnell was very professional and accomodating. It was a pleasure booking the spa with him. He is a true find in a world of many who just don't care. Give the man a raise!!
Customer service phone person was loud, abrupt, unprofessional...did not speak clearly and hung up on me as I tried to express an opinion. Burk Williams does not offer spouses sharing a room while having a massage....so much for laid back, casual....anything goes lifestyle in southern Ca. How childish...I would advise against Burk and go to another spa where you get more for you money and no one dictates to you if you can be in a room with your wife getting a massage.
