Dad Miller Golf Course
Visitors from abroad and from other parts of the United States relish the opportunity to play golf in January. A favorite local course with low fees is the "Dad" Miller Golf Course, named for an Anaheim resident who hit a hole in one on his 93rd birthday. "Dad" is long gone, but the love of golf lingers on in Anaheim, where the sunshine and warm temperatures make it a year-round game. Non-resident green fees start at just USD24 per 18 holes.
Simply called to get some information, available tee times, dress code restrictions, prices...etc. Gil placed me on hold for 7 minutes so I called back just to have him yell at me and talk to me in a condesending manner. I will not be playing at Dad Miller...ever.
great course to learn on, but a little pricey, it should only cost 20$,but thats life!!!. other than that, it is a wide open course and allows a little room for error, plus tiger woods used too play there!!
The layout is pretty straight forward. It's in very good shape. I had a tee time, but the pro shop makes you wait until the group ahead is on the tee before you can pay and go get a cart and get your stuff from the car and then whamo!! you tee off....NOW!!! I didn't like the rush. The staff is not very friendly, either.
