never go to hahm motorsports

i took my yz450 there because it would not start it took them 2 months to find the problem the ordered cdi box and kick starter it ended up being the stator snaped it cost me $600 just for that and they did even give me the white bros cdi box that i payed for and they said it was already on the bike i was pissed when i found that out in my oppion NEVER GO TO HAHM MOTORSPORTS
 
 
 
 
 
Beware....bumpy road ahead!

After initial "break-in" service, bike started making noises. Took bike to another service center and discovered: Final gear oil was NOT changed; Transmission fluid had only 48cc instead of 360cc in it! Jury is still out on how they will remedy the situation. I am out time and $$ trying to get this right. Can YOU imagine these guys working on YOUR brakes???

HORRIBLE SHOP

I WENT THERE WHEN I WANTED TO BUY MY FIRST QUAD. WENT IN WITH MY FATHER AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT A I WANTED. A YAMAHA BLASTER WHEN WE FINALLY GOT HELP FROM AN EMPLOYEE HE TOOK MY FATHER ASIDE AND TOLD HIM THAT HE DIDN'T FEEL I COULD AFFORD THAT KIND OF QUAD. MY FATHER STORMED OUT MAD AND CALLED THE GENERAL MANAGER I WENT TO ANOTHER SHOP AND PAID CASH THE NEXT DAY!!!! NEVER SHOP HERE THEY ARE RUDE AND ONLY OUT FOR AN EXTRA DOLLAR. HAHM MOTORSPORTS HAS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

MY BOAT WAS BROUGHT TO THE SERVICE DEPT. ON 08/2006 IT IS NOW 03/2007 AND THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON....THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IF MY BOAT WAS THERE WHEN I CALLED AND ASKED WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH IT...THIS HAS BEEN AN ON GOING BATTLE WITH THIS SHOP SINCE THE DAY WE BOUGHT THE BOAT...THEY NEVER KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON OR CAN GIVE YOU ANY ANSWERS AND NOTHING IS EVER FIXED....I ENCORAGE ANYONE TO NEVER BUY OR TAKE ANYTHING IN THERE FOR SERVICE...EVEN THE TOP MANAGEMENT WONT EVEN RETURN MY CALLS...WHO KNOWS IF I WILL EVER GET MY BOAT OUT THAT IM PAYING ON....VERY POOR SERVICE.

Stay Away Beware

Well to start off they kept on false advertising the DS 250 when they first came out. Second when I went to buy parts in the parts department they do not treat equal all raises especially Rusty. I won't recommend them to anyone.

WOW!!! EXPECTATIONS EXCEEDED!!

BRAND NEW TO THE ORANGE COUNTY AREA, I WAS LOOKING FOR A FACILITY TO BRING MY 3 ATV'S & WATERCRAFT, I ALSO HAVE A VTX 1800 WICH IS MY BABY & AM VERY RELUCTANT TO LET ANYONE TOUCH LET ALONE WORK ON, I CHECKED THE YAHOO REVIEWS PAGE BEFOR BRING MY UNITS IN & WAS A LITTLE DISCOURGED BY ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BUT BEING THAT I HAVE A YAMAHA, HONDA, & POLARIS ATV'S THIS WAS THE ONLY PLACE LOCALY THAT I COULD BRING ALL THREE UNITS. I SHOWED UP WITH NO APPOINTMENT & WAS PROMPTLY GREATED BY MY SERVICE ADVISOR JON, SUPER FRIENDLY GUY WHO SEEMED TO BE VERY KNOWLAGEABLE ABOUT ALL THREE OF MY UNITS I LET HIM KNOW THAT THE HONDA & YAMAHA WERE A STRAIGHT SERVICE BUT THE POLARIS WAS HAVING AN OVERHEATING ISSUE JON SAID THE SERVICES WOULD BE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING DAY ...(I HAVE TO SAY I WAS A BIT SCEPTICAL ON THAT) HE SAID THE POLARIS MAY TAKE ABIT LONGER IF PATS HAD TO BE REPLCED. TO MY SUPRISE I WAS CONTACTED THE FOLLOWING DAY & LET KNOW BOTH THE HONDA & YAMAHA WERE READY TO GO, BUT THE POLARIS NEEDED TO HAVE THE THERMO SWITCH REPLACED BUT THE BAD NEWS WAS THAT I WAS A WEEK OUT OF WARRANTY, JON SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO ABOUT THE SITUATION BUT HE WOULD SPEAK TO THE MANGER & HAVE HIM GET BACK TO ME, I RECEIVED A CALL ABOUT AN HOUR LATER FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER (NATHAN) HE STATED THAT BECAUSE THAT UNIT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY POLARIS WASENT WILLING TO COVER ALL OF THE REPAIR, HE DID TELL ME THOUGH THAT HE TALKED THEM INTO COVERING ALL PARTS & THAT HE WOULD STEP UP & TAKE CARE OF LABOR, I WAS THROUGHLY IMPRESSED WHEN I ARRIVED TO PICK UP MY QUADS THEY WERE THROUGHLY CLEANED & JON HAD SOME OF THE GUYS LOAD THEM UP FOR ME ...I DID HAVE TO WALK ALL THE WAY OVER TO THE SHOWROOM TO HAVE TO PAY WICH I WAS NOT TO EXCITED ABOUT BUT ALL IN ALL THE OVERALL EXPERIANCE FAR EXCEEDED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS...BEING NEW TO THE AREA NATHAN CLUED ME IN TO A FEW COOL SPOTS TO GO RIDDING ...HAHM SERVICE HAS DEFINATLY EAREN MY TRUST & I WILL BE BRING MY VTX 1800 IN SHORTLY

Smooth Transaction!

The parts department, should not be compared to the rest of the Hahm company. Their service far outweighs any negativity within the store. Great price on my Sea-doo Bombardier batteries. Their professionalism does not waiver. Thank You PARTS Dept.

they lie to your face!!!

I went in to buy my first bike.My sister was going to co-sign for me,we went to sign the papers and the finance guy told her to sign first.we asked"she's just the co-signer, right?" he said"yes". Come to find out he put her as the primary and now we can't get them to fix it.All they say is "I don't see why it matters, it affects your credit the same way!?"You can't lie to people, it's ridiculous! I don't recomend hahm to anyone!I went there cause it was late and Mission motor sports was closed. My family has been going to Mission for years, I guess I thought all bike shops were the same.Worst mistake ever.

Bad parts/service

There parts sold me something that would need to be tuned to work. So I took it to their service department which said they could tune it (EFI controller)... end result was paid $400 for the part and $140 for their service department to turn the EFI controller OFF! Rendering it useless... When they service my quad on its first service they had chain lube all over my bike... and who knows if they performed the required valve adjustments?

21 proline walk

Purchased new proline and during pre delivery inspection found cut wires in harness with new wire's hard wired around connector. Then found loose feeder cable to accessory power buss bar. Spoke to sales mgr who stated they found bad bait well pump switch I then notified him of wire rework was to same pump. The loose buss bar feeder cable was the cause of this electrical problem. Hahm has poorly trained techs who were unable to find a simple electrical problem. I was able to walk away from the deal but any prospective buyer beter shake down their vehicle before delivery. Hahm had no intentions of disclosing this rework to the wire harness which is a modification and never took the time to do a pre delivery inspection to verify the wire harness at key points was secure. They should want to perform a thoural inspection to ensure I would not have any issues on the water. This type of rework to a factory installation is nothing short of a crime and there is no excuse for not performing a pre delivery inspection. I cant imagine the service I would receive if there was ever a warrenty issue or for simple required service.
