The wait is a pain!!

Once you make it inside you will probably find the food tasty and table service acceptable (although they seem a bit understaffed, with waiters flying around trying to cover all of their tables).
But, the quality of food & service is not worth the grief you suffer waiting to get in. We understand a popular restaurant will have a wait and if we agree with the estimated time frame, fine. However, here is how our experience at the check in desk went.
1. RainForest: Your wait will be about 20 minutes.
2. Us: We have been waiting 30 minutes, can you give us an idea of how much longer it will be? RF: It will be another 15 minutes.
3. Us: We have been waiting for an hour. How much longer will it be? RF: We do not see your name on our list. Are you sure you checked in? We will give you the next available table.
4. Us: We have waited an additional 15 minutes after being told we would have the next available table. We have seen other groups both large and small, most of whom arrived well after we did, being seated. RF: Oh, those people arrived over half an hour ago. Us: We arrived almost 90 minutes ago! RF: That can't be right. Us: Are you saying we are making this up?! RF: Well, we will give you the next table. Us: We will stand right here at your desk and make sure that you do not call any other names before ours.
5. We are finally seated.
Needless to say, that incident put a bad taste in our mouths before we even took our first bite. And we were not the only ones. There must have been at least a half dozen, if not more, groups experiencing the same thing as our family. It was beginning to look like a mob scene.
We avoid this restaurant at all costs.
