Lake Catherine, Hot Springs

What I disliked was they didn't have our cabin ready until evening although we arrived there at noon. Apparently the cabin smelled bad. They thought maybe an animal or something had died underneath it. The bad odor was coming inside the cabin . So we had to go out driving and shopping all day till they had it cleaned up. Come to find out raccoons were leaving half eaten fish under the porch to rot. But the cabin itself was rustic and lovely . I have happy memories of taking nature walks and sitting on the porch swing at night, gazing at the moons reflection on the water, with someone very special to my heart.-

I loved Lake Catherine and desire to go again. It was peaceful and I was able to focus and write in peace. I also love spending time next to Lake Catherine or just sitting outside on the back porch to look out over the lake and mountains and write. AWESOME!

when we arrive at the park it was ok.they had our campsite messed up.we had to walk to the bathhouse,they are redoing the bathroom.then we went to marine dock to ride around the lake,the staff was nice to us.but make sure if you want to ride the boat sign up for it.we ask the staff at the desk and they told us that we did not have to sign up.so we went to the marine to get on the boat.and we did not get to ride.and that really did make us mad.they was telling two diffrent stories,but overall we had an good time there.there lake is very pretty.

A place where German prisoners used to call home, now a beautiful small lake full of the best fish around. The small cabins are rustic and great. It's just the size for a family because it's small enough to be safe.

what i loved about lake catherine was the fact that it was well maintaned and was in total a beautiful place to be.the hiking trails were very nice also,they had many little streams of ice cold water that was as clear as you can get.i also met some very nice people,from the employees to the guest.
