Maxwell Blade Theater of Magic

Well...it was a shock to find something we did not know about in Hot Springs. We spent Thanksgiving this year doing our traditional trip to Hot Springs. A friend told us about Maxwell Blade...we were really unsure of going in that we felt it was a small theater and probably wouldn't be worth our time... Wow...we had so much fun...laughed and laughed. We we definitely recommend to folks for family friendly atmosphere. It kept us on the edge of our seats the entire time. Never once did I look down at my watch...okay maybe once to see if he made it disappear!!! It will be totally worth your trip. It was well worth the money and was not too long but long enough to say I got my money's worth...I am so glad a friend from West Monroe recommended us to go see the show. Wow...so unexpectedly good, wholesome and lots of sparks of wisdom thrown in for good measure...thank God for Maxwell Blade!!!!!!!

I love the show, the atmosphere. Very family friendly. He was great with kids. I highly recommend this show!

I was unsure of the show when I got to the venue but, it was a wonderful show. Maxwell engaged the audiance and did trick after trick. My family is stilling talking about the show being the highlight of our trip to Hot Springs. You cannot go to Hot Springs without seeing this WONDERFUL show!!!!!! The proceof the ticket was a bargin for all the entertainment the show had.

Maxwell Blade is great. My family has been to his show three times. Two times in his old theatre and once in his new one. He puts on a great show and is very in touch with his audience! We love him!

I didn't have a lot of expecatations for the show. I thought it would be a good thing to check out... This show out did my expecatations more than I thought possible. It was so entertaining I would recommend this as the #1 things you MUST see in Hotsprings. His magic was truly magical and so mind boggling. He was very friendly, comical, and has a very warm heart. He included people in his show and did an awesome trick with a hundred dollar bill that we actually supplied. I would recommend this show for any age and it is well worth your money. After seeing the show I would have actually paid double what he actually charges had I known it was that great! He also included his two younger daughters in the show and they were very entertaining and adorable. Great family act! =)

Several years ago, I went to his performance in the old building. It was top notch professional stage magic! Last July when I was in Hot Springs, I missed the early show & signed up for late show. Not enough people came for the late one, so it cancelled. He told me of a nice restaurant I could go have late dinner way on the other side of town. I went. To my surprise, he and his children and his staff showed up shortly after and I chatted a few minutes with them.(Next time I'm in town, he'd see I get free tickets.) Best of all, I had the opportunity to watch his interactions with his kiddos. Maxwell is patient, kind, loving with them. I'm going to Hot Springs again next week and I wouldn't miss his show for anything. Free tickets? No way, this man is an excellent entertainer, a warm friendly person, a great role model, and a great testament to our Lord and Saviour. I will be paying for my tickets because I his illusion abilities are worth every penny.

We arrived 25 minutes before the show started. The magician Maxwell Blade was in the lobby greeting people. He saw we had a baby stroller and helped us find a spot to store it. My first impression was he was a very nice man who really enjoyed his job. The theatre is small, which does give everyone a close up view of the show. Lots of good laughs, mind boggling tricks entertained us for 90 mins. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Our daughter, who is only 8 months old, enjoyed the music, the lights and stood on my lap watching the magician perform the whole night. This was a 5 star magic show due to it's "personal touch" and a very passionete magician who seems to be having a good ole fun time at work. I've been to may magic shows in vegas, gatlinburg and on cruise ships. This has been my favorite.

Maxwell Blade's show is an absolutely mind-boggling experience I guarantee you will never forget. Before I saw his show, I was skeptical. I thought it was all going to be mere "trickery" that could be explained away logically. I discovered quickly just how very very wrong I was! This incredible man can READ YOUR MIND - and as if that weren't enough - he can MAKE YOU SEE THINGS THAT AREN'T REALLY THERE!!!! I could never have fathomed that such things were really possible, or that people like him really exist. But I am now a believer in the seemingly impossible. He will take you into another realm. If you are wanting your mind to be totally blown like never before, go see Maxwell. His magic and his charisma will prove unforgettable. And as if all that weren't enough, he treats each and every one who comes to see him as if they were a personal friend, taking the time to talk, take pictures, and sign autographs. As incredible as he is, he is still amazingly down-to-earth. If you ever get a chance to go see him, by all means, do so. You will be mesmerized beyond belief. I LOVE this guy.....and so will you!

Was told this was the new show in town which it wasn't, Stonehenge was who I wanted to see. Since I had given credit card info had to sit through it. Way to little magic and entertainment for the money. Saw the show 10 years ago it was ok. Stonehenge does has his own show found out later in another building , did get to go there later. Now that was a show but will save that information for his site. Don't waste the money on this show it is overpriced and not worth it. If they lower the cost to 5 dollars then i might say go for it. But, if your trying to get your money worth this is not it.

This was the best magic show I have ever went to. Max was very entertaining! He and his staff (including his two young daughters) made you feel very welcome. It was an awesome experience. I recommend this show to anyone going to or living in or near Hot Springs. Money Well Spent!!
