My husband and I celebrated our 4th wedding aniversary in Hot Springs and we wanted something special to remember. We chose the riverboat cruise on the Belle and we were glad we did. It was everything we hoped it would be. The food was outstanding. I had the chicken with white wine sauce and my husband had the stuffed shrimp, both measured up to some of the four star resturants we had been to. We enjoyed dancing after dinner and certaintly the romantic feeling of being on the water with all of the lights. I would definately recommend the Belle for a must do when you are in Hot Springs.
My husband and I were vacationing in Hot Springs and we did the Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat Cruise. We enjoyed the cruise. The expereince was fun, and we would recommend it to others. The staff was friendly and the cruise was interesting. Well worth the time and money.
We just hosted a group from a Wisconsin Leadership Class here in Hot Springs and as part of the hosting event, we booked a dinner and cruise on the Belle.
As always, they thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Food was a culinary delight.
Our compliments to the Chef, Waitress and others who all stepped up to show true southern hospitatlity to our visitors.
Oh, by the way, we loved it to.
The Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat experience was absolutely "OUTSTANDING"!!! I want to give a special thanks to Jessica, Mark, Susie, and Melissa - for making my surprise "Engagement Proposal" an "OVER THE TOP" experience and success for both me and my new Fiance'!!! The food was most delicious...the cocktails were on point and the music was just right! Lake Hamilton is absolutely beatiful!

I recommend anyone visiting Hot Springs, Arkansas should take a cruise on the Belle of Hot Springs. I entertained forty-six (46) guests on the Belle this past Saturday on the luncheon cruise. The food was delicious, the beverages were great, the history of the lake was amazing and the service was awesome. I will definitely consider taking another group on the Belle. We enjoyed the cruise and the beautiful Lake Hamilton. I have visited Hot Springs for years and never knew there was so much history to Lake Hamilton. It is a great way to relax and enjoy God’s nature.
I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the bad reviews, but the trip was pleasant. The food was very good (I had prime rib, 2 had the salmon, 1 had the shrimp). Although there was a lot of fat on the prime rib, it was so large that I could barely finish it, and I have a good appetite. One thing to be aware of is that drinks, gratuity, and dessert are extra. They told us that everything else is included, but when we got in the boat they had chips, cheese sauce, and salsa, and they said they were charging extra for that , too. (Actually, when we got the bill it did not include any charge for that.)
If you want to go there for dancing, you may be disappointed. In the dinner cruise we went on, the dancing just went on for a few minutes. That is not what I went for, so it didn't matter to me, but it might to some people.
The trip was pleasant and the lake was pretty, as were some of the homes on the lakefront, but I would have preferred to have seen some undeveloped natural areas.
The trip isn't cheap. so if you are on a tight budget it may not be a good choice, but we enjoyed ourselves. The next time I visit the area, I doubt that I will do it again, but no because it is so bad - just because there are other things to do in that Hot Springs area, and I have already done this.
The wedding on the upper deck was nice but when we entered the 2nd level for the dinner/reception the nightmare began. The boat had spider webs .and the bathrooms smelled horrible and were nasty. The staff were rude to the children nad snapped at my guest. I served by own wedding cake (that was suppose to be taken care of by the staff) and I was told that it was a dinner/dance cruise and a DJ would be provided to play music for our first dance. I brought a CD, as recommended, but my music was never played. I was told that the DJ could not get it to play however after the wedding I went to walmart and bought a cheap CD player that played the music just fine. Not to mention the DJ knew the wedding was taking place but instead of playing romantic music she played the cupid shuffle not once but twice. This is not what I had in mind when I booked this boat for my wedding/reception.
This was the absolute perfect place for the reception upon our daughter's return from her destination wedding. Everything was beautiful and so easy. The food was delicious and elegantly presented. All we had to do was get on board and enjoy the views while visiting with our guests. Everyone enjoyed being able to go to the upper deck to sit in the sunshine and breeze to take full advantage of the riverboat's features, too!
We didn't have to rent a facility, hire a caterer, or even pay for a band. The Belle has a very nice atmostphere, provides a variety of food selections and also has a dj to play whatever kind of music you'd like. You'd be hard pressed to beat the price and you won't find anything easier.
