I always love driving from Little Rock to Harrison to eat at DeVito's Fine Italian Restaurant. My husband and I do this on special occasions when we just want to "get away from it all" and experience the great food and casual atmosphere. We have been doing this for years and have never been dissapointed with anything we have ever ordered from the menu. The only thing is that we miss Mr. DeVito senior himself - yet his family do a great job of carrying on the tradition of visits to the table to be sure eveything is to your expectations or supply your needs. They simmer their sauce for something like 14 or 18 hours and it is really great. Their trout farm across the road (seen from the restaurant windows upstairs) assures that your trout dinner or trout finger appetizer is freshly cooked within just a few hours of being caught. Yes - I remember DeVito's quite well -- I'm ready to go again right now . . .
Ah Devito's.....what can I say except that it is by far, a class in itself! The atmosphere is warm and inviting; the food wonderful and service is great! If you go, begin your meal with some Trout Fingers and Toasted Ravioli! Then for your meal, try a 1/2 Cajun, 1/2 Devito's Trout and a 1/2 order of Fettuccine. Your taste buds will thank you!
I LIKED NOTHING ABOUT MY MEAL IT WAS OVERPRICED AND VERY BLAND. THE SERVICE WAS OK BUT NOTHING GREAT. I WILL NOT GO BACK. I DID NOT ENJOY MYSELF, NEITHER DID MY WIFE WE WERE EXPECTING SOMETHING GRAND, AND WE WERE LET DOWN.
