Great Passion Play, Eureka Springs

As to Never Gets Old, who made the statement that every christian should see the play. I feel that not ONLY every CHRISTIAN should see the play, but EVERYONE should see the play. Whether they are christian or not.

I was greatly disappointed in the "New Passion Play". The new play was fragmented, bad sequencing, too much over-acting, and i think the throwing in of a new character that reminded me of a witch dancing and swinging her arms and supposedly representing Satan in dealing with Barrabas was the ultimate dissapointment. If you have ever seen the original play, you will understand what I am talking about. To me the original version was the ultimate portrayal of the last days of Christ. The new play is very much lacking. I have seen the ogiginal version several times and always enjoyed going back to see it again. NOT AGAIN.

We just returned from a trip to the Great Passion Play. We attended the Living Bible Tour and I was somewhat dissappointed, it lasted 2hours and my kids lost interest about 30 minutes into the tour. However the two things I would say are a definite is the Texans! Food was okay but the entertainment was GREAT!! Then before the play stop by to see "parables of the potter". Don't go to the passion without seeing these to things! It made the trip worth every cent!!

Best parts were the set, costumes and "earthquake." After having seen other dramatizations of Christ's life, crucifixion and resurrection (The Passion of the Christ, The Promise, Gospel of John), this play was a bit disappointing. The prerecorded soundtrack/readings could have been much better with more feeling, articulation, etc. The reading just seemed like a reading. I understand it was a drama but the order was changed.

The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs is truely one of the greatest dramas I have ever experienced. The staging, live animals, fine acting, and great seating make this an experience you will never forget. Of all the places we have vacationed, this is our all time favorite. We have attended the play at least seven times in the past few years and it just keeps getting better. The New Holy Land, The Bible Museum, The Sacred Arts Gallery, Parables of the Potter, and the play itself all combine to bring into focus the love of God for us. The last week in the life of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection, and His assenction back into Heaven are beautifully portrayed in the Great Passion Play.

I loved it! Everyone should see it at least once. The atmosphere is spiritually moving. Go see it. You won't regret it. The Holy Land tour is neat but not what I was expecting. I will go back to see the Passion Play again!

Loved it everytime We've been there!!! Even the kids loved it too!!! The nicest people go and you can see the play. People actually watch the play instead of talking and running the isles!!!

Great time...also had dinner on the grounds..and was ablre to view other activites on the grounds before show time. PLAY IS LONG...for those that don't know, take a seat cushion or purchase one...stadium seating.

This is a great play I have seen it twice the actors are very good and they use live animals in the play. It's out on the side of a mountain and if you go in the fall of the year it get's quite chilly at night so you better dress warmly and take a wrap. Although you can rent a wrap as I have done before. The seating is also great they let you pick your seating.

I give it a 10. I loved the play and the museum. Cave was ok. I loved the Statue of Jesus.Its the best play I have ever been.
