Opera in the Ozarks, Eureka Springs

What most people know about opera they learned from Bugs Bunny cartoons, like "What's Opera, Doc" and "The Rabbit of Seville". If you're one of those, and have never been to a live opera, you should try one of the comic operas at Opera in the Ozarks. If you're an opera fan, try one of the "serious" ones. The venue is casual – shorts and t-shirts ok – and the performers some of the best in the best aspiring young artists in the nation. I don't like opera on the radio or just the music. But I love it in the context of a stage performance. Really, give it a try.
