I visited Eureka Springs, Arkansas for the first time this last June. I was looking on the yahoo travel site and came across all of the Bath Junkie reviews. Of course I had to check it out and see if it really was good or bad. Personally, I would have to agree that it was NOT a good experience. I thought the lotions were definately overpriced and the store was dirty. Although someone thinks the same person posted the negative remarks, I may have to disagree. Remember, if someone has a good experience they will tell one person, but if someone has a bad experience, they will tell five or more. I think the reviews speak for themselves.
I recieved no help whatsoever, not even a "hello" when I walked in. As I looked around, the store was absolutely filthy!! If I owned a store and it was in this dissary I would be mortified and appalled!! The "fragrances" smelled like a chemical had been added. In addition, everything is overpriced! Who would pay for a diry store, no help, and a bad fragrance?
The smells are very accurate and not overwhelming..i am allergic to most scents and at Bath Junkie i didnt have any reactions. I think if you like fragrance you will love this place, I definately recommend visiting any Bath Junkie across the United States...Its not just for women, men can pick out their own cologne fragrance too.
I visited Bath Junkie earlier this summer and was treated fantastic.The product I purchased was great. Today I visited to get help with some products, the girl decided that the man that came in after me should be helped first, then wouldn't give me any ideas for the gift arrangement I needed. Instead, she told me that I would have to talk to someone else to get the arrangement I wanted. She was such a poor salesperson and unwilling to help. Management-hire someone else!
I love to visit Eureka Springs and have given this store several chances. The last time I was in this store, will be the last time. I agree with some of the other posts on this site that the products are not the quality that they claim. They told me that my daughter would not have problems with bladder infections as she does with other bubble baths. She was so excited, so I bought some for her. She chose the scent Hibiscus Passion and made it purple. I also bought her a shimmer lotion to match, but this one she wanted blue. Not only have I spent even more money with a doctor's visit because she, of course, developed a bladder infection, but the lotion actually turned her blue! After many tears and scrubbing and one doctor's visit, my daughter has recovered, but I must say I am very unhappy. I did call the store and was told that this was not possible. I should have taken pictures of her when she looked like a smurf! They were rude and I will not return. For better products, try The Spa Shop just down the street!
Well, for one the store was beautiful and very clean. The manager and the staff were awesome. I think the whole concept of the store was created wonderfully. I was there about a year and a half ago and the store was not that great. It had some bad managment and the staff was just ok. Not to friendly and didn't really seem interested in helping me find what i was looking for.Now i have been back to the store several time in the past 8 months and there is different management and a totally diff. staff. The staff if amamzing and the manager was out of this world. She was very friendly and she was so ready to help me. She wanted to help me not just tell me what to do. So for this I will always go back to the Daytona Beach, Florida store always for the bath product i need.
It's obvious the same person has sent these bad reviews. I visited Eureka for the first time last year and I can honestly say all I have talked about since is Bath Junkie! The concept is awsome. Custom made products (I bought a salt scrub, bubbling bath crystals, a body wash and lotion. They all worked wonderfully) My eczema is now under controll for the first time! The atmosphere is very neat. It's very clean and the employees were very helpful. They greated me when I walked in and helped me through each step in making my selections. I will definitely be back, and in the meantime , when I run out I will be calling to re-order.
In 2 months I will be moving to Colorado Springs,Colorado and will miss the great experience of picking my products scent and color. I hope that bath junkie can add more locations all over the U.S. I hope to see a bath junkie in Colorado soon.
